I want to maximize my DoT! So I'm looking at these Enchantment!
== My calculation ==
Tenebrous(Offense Slot):When striking a foe you have a chance to deal 3% of your current Hit Points in Necrotic damage.
a) No active passive "Creeping Death"(Feats Fury)
b) 30K(hp)*3% = 900 (Necrotic Damage); if 30K(hp)*15%(x5 Tenebrous) = 4.5K (Necrotic Damage)
Terror: You deal an additional 12% of weapon damage as Necrotic damage with every swing and induce terror in your foe, reducing their Defense by 20%
a) Weapon damage 671~820 damage, then 12% = 80~98 (Necrotic damage)
b) 1K defense - 20% = 800 defense. (
Correct?)
Plague Fire: +7.5% Fire damage. Burn for 2.5% damage per second for 3s and reduce def by 15%, can be stacked 3 times.
a) 1K Damage + 7,5% = 1075(Damage), then 2.5%= 27 (Damage DoT) -> 3s = 27*3= 81 Damage Final
b) 3 Stacks (15%) = -45% def (1K defense - 45% = 550 defense)
question
3 Stacks Work in DoT or Direct Damage?Vorpal: +50% critical severity. (Critical Severity increases damage done on critical hits.)
Vorpal can generate a Dot greater than the above two?Enchantmentshttp://neverwinter.gamepedia.com/Enchanting#Armor_Enchantments

Yes and no. Since tene respects DR it it far less effective when used by a class that can't bolster its ar pen through natural stat such as the TR and CW.
On classes that can its far more effective because it benefits from the flat ar pen boost from stats on top of stacking ar pen through gear. Further to it a class that stacks HP higher naturally benefits even more.
Tene procs after initial attack which means any and all bebuffs your attacks do will consequently boost the tend damage as well. This is why if you stack tene I would recommend a GPF or Terror over a vorpal for the garaunteed burst boost to your tend procs, since tene never crits (and thus benefits in no way from vorpals)
Further when you tene comes off global cooldown, a target that is burning from you plague ticks will have it process again on them once more even if you aren't attacking. Imagine that pesky TR with your plague ticks on him entering stealth to avoid your targeting and burst suddenly eating a spike 6k+ damage because the ticks proc on him while he's hiding (and they benefit from the debuff to boot)

What would you say about going that route, but staying with P Vorpal if your at a combined 33% resistance ignored?
You would lose a lot of power but power is more of an advantage on sustained damage which is not ideal for PvP situations.
As for answering your question, it depends on some of your other stats and build. If you are a ranged kill sniping Fury build (as most SW who PvP are) I can't imagine why you wouldn't stack teneb over power. Especially with your ar pen at 33%. Anything that is not a tank build will eat just about all of the tene damage which can be significant.
Example; a 45k HP SW with 8 G tene will burst 10800 damage every 16 or so seconds (which seems to be the ICD of tene) off of any attack that can proc it. Its like having an extra free encounter. Higher HP SW and SW using debuff attacks can net even more than that depending on an opponents DR. That's a massive burst potential from very reasonable stat spreads.
Thus why I stack tene. But my toon is built to contest and hold nodes, I can only imagine the havoc if I respect to Fury and started kill sniping. Anything not stacking defense would melt.
Vorpal IMO is BIS only on a select few classes and builds at the moment. If you don't boast at least a 35% or better crit rate I think other options are just as good. Also remember vorpal won't boost your teams damage like plague or terror will which helps immensely against annoying Faithful DCs. You really just have to pick a niche and adapt.

well i guess i should go ahead and forget about this, too expensive of an adventure for me to take on =/
BUt yah I could see how that would be one amazing proc ontop of everything else we already able to do. im at 33% Resist ginored not including when my Red Glyphs proc.
Maybe il ask aroudn and see if someone can copy some Tene's to the test server for me, il play aroudn with them there .
I use PVorpal (loan froma friend) with 35-40% crit rate (depends if im potting/teamates buffs.
Lately been running with my buddy who switched to renegade CW, hard to say no when your Crit jumps to like 65% for 10 seconds lol
You have a 30% chance to deal 12.5% of weapon damage as Radiant damage with every strike. This damage ignores half of your target's Damage Resistances.
Attention here:
This damage ignores half of your target's Damage Resistances.
Your full damage that ignores 50% of the resistance or is it just oas 12.5% who ignore????
Weapon damage=1K *12.5% = 125 damage.
Will this damage at least active in the DoT?
