Game integrity question

Hi!

I would like to ask you my fellow players and would love to see a response from Officials too, like one of our Mods here.

An early thank you!

Ok, my problem is the RP points and how hard it is to get them since Mod5 the normal, 100% honest way.

I will eat my socks if someone proves me he can do an item legendary in a day, with no payment, tho i see more of them each day and i feel like loser and was named so many times in game and actually i am, i still run around with my epic gear.

I have my eyes rolling each day, when i see players in the game and here on forums talking about grey zone methods and to my "surprise" getting away with it.

For me this sounds weird, i am sure an old school idiot from old DnD days and my upbringing was the same, but that's another thing.

So my question is: Is it allowed for everyone, without being banned to use these grey area methods, like boting with 3rd party methods ?

I deliberately ask "everyone", cause, my experience as a Guild Leader is, that if someone is big enough, like a member of a big PVP guild saying, he bots and uses these khmm twilight zone methods he is still here, no warning, nothing.

When i had my client as a law practitioner before me i didn't care, who he was, if you know, what i mean.

So, can we all and i mean all go farm or bot PVE and PVP, is this considered here legit way?

Cause currently a 100% legit player is a loser, like me.

Thank you!

People who have full legendary gear either bought diamonds (through legal/illegal means), botted, or are a long time player who endlessly farmed Castle never or have merched the auction house.

Back then, you could legit get BIS gear by farming PVE legit (Castle Never).

I assure you these people, at least 90% of them don't have long time game career, have no armada of leadership slaves and don't play a cent to the developers. ;)

And they are playing the game only casually and no, since i know many of them, they don't farm the game all day every day, come and go and next day full legendary.

My problem is, that it is so obvious and as i see the majority of those full legendary guys is no innocent saint... Google...

True many of them don't...but remember some of them are old players from open beta. A lot of them made dozens of millions of diamonds farming castle never for 8 hours everyday and now they just merch the auction house to sustain their wealth.

Sure, lol but what about those 90+ %?

Ok, just to give an example, it tried the newly hyped foundry quest, my first try, cause i saw many of my "friends" in full legendary doing it.

Well i try to find the words, that may stay here, nearly not as many that i could do anything useful with it, altho our big PVP hero claimed here not long ago in a thread, he could do over 100K in an hour. LOL sure a beautiful RP farming place, but only if one uses bots.

Now since i play the game full legit, i don't use bots, ergo i am a loser in this situation.

My question is to any official, how can you make a lot of RP points the legit way, cause as i see it, NO WAY.

The 90+% of the player base with full legendary could and should witness a huge roll back.

To be honest, I don't know what the percentage is. Probably the vast majority. However, there are lots and lots of old players who have a legit claim to being millionaires through farming CN but everyone will start hiding with them and also claiming they farmed CN.

Who is telling the truth and who are the majority who don't? It is hard to tell really.

And almost every single one of them, used the GF 1 shot exploit to kill the bosses instantly, as far as i can remember. So you might wanna rephrase "farming" into exploiting, hehe.

can do an item legendary in a day

Four millions RP points, more or less. That's 15000 blue drops. If the devs have removed the lvl-59 drops in Well of dragons, and if there are no ICD between two drops, if you've found a good spot and no other player is killing them, if you get one blue every third group and can take down two groups in one minute, it's not even 400 hours of play.

I respectfully ask a genuinely serious question: Why must anyone expect to be able to do this in a day (or even a single week for that matter)? How is it considered "Legendary" if it's so easy to do? I'm not trying to turn anything into legendary status, but if it takes three months to do then I'd say: sounds about right; Legendary really is legendary. I am not attempting to troll anyone or cause a debate - I'm genuinely curious.

It *should* take a really long time to do this kind of stuff. Maybe there's a better way than grinding, but it shouldn't be so easy to do.

This is what create the value of the item. If you could turn all your gear into Legendary status in a day, what will you do next week? How fast will you become so bored that you quit playing the game? I could go on, but you get my gist. So I reiterate my equation: Why would you or anyone expect to be able to accomplish all the game goals in a day or two?

Mate you didn't read my post carefully!

I don't want to turn anything into legendary in 1 day, on the contrary, i prefer working hard for it, as long as i see the goal!

I was saying, that 90+% of those people who turn an item into legendary in one day use some kind of exploit and i find that unfair against legit players, cause it grants them an unfair advantage in any sense, be it GS or anything else.

It's like a cyclist, who uses EPO.

most people with legendaries had them (or atleast the RP for them) before mod 5.

It cost only 400k AD for the RP for legendary artifact equipment prior to mod 5, if you refined during a 2x weekend. 4x legendaries is 1.6mil AD.

Regular artifacts cost is similar unless you had a free artifact like PVP one to feed. They cost base artifact (same type for 5x bonus) + 90-160k AD in RP if done during a 2x weekend.

this isn't including the cost of marks, legendary artifacts cost 6x GMOPS (1 for epic, 5 for legendary) which is 600k right there.

Regular artifacts still cost the same, btw.
