Repentant Cultist Cage Key

In the Well of Dragons in the Cult Prison you see cages where you need this key for, anyone can tell me where/how we can get this key please ?

    As far as I know it's a rare drop from the lair boss. Hasn't dropped for me yet though so I can't confirm from personal experience.

    Yes Twighlightwatchman is correct ,it is a Blue drop from the final boss in the lairs .

    Yes - boss drop in any of the lairs in WoD. I won the roll on my GF last week and got the companion. He's pretty cool.

    Concur. I won the roll also and have him w/ my HR. He's ok, looks good, reads a scroll and becomes large.

    You can abandon and leave and run the thing for hours if you want. If the drop rate is like the yeti in iwd it shouldnt take too long.

    After over one hundred solo runs of Cult Prison, I am inclined to disagree.

    I can confirm, this Key can be dropped in any WoD Lair from the last Boss.
    Also this Key is account bound, so you can transfer it to any char of your choice, that´s pretty good.
    I was super lucky and got this Key in first WoD Lair after M5 release.
    So far i got this Key 3x, 1. used for my main char, 2. stored in my shared bank, 3. passed to friend (in group run, this Key pop up in party roll, so you can need, greed or pass it.

    I hate you people who've not only gotten it, but gotten it more than once. :< I want the stupid thing for the sake of having him/collections, but nooo. No key drops. >_<

    The worst is when the boss drops a piece of blue equipment and you see the blue and for a second you get hopeful, but then it's just junk.

    The attempts to get that key remind me of lightfoot thief... so many people running around with that cultist and yet it's so hard to get for me :|

    Does running in full party increase the drop chance for this one? Another gossip but somebody claimed the chance is x5 higher which I rather think is nonsense but oh well, maybe somebody noticed some tendency?

    I have yet to see the key drop during solo runs but EVERY SINGLE group run I have done the key has dropped...four times IIRC. Won it once.

    And doing the adventuring party in MC "increases the chance for fragments to drop". I find it unlikely that people have enough data. This is how superstitions are made. Though it is possible, it would be silly if that's the way t's done.

    I've gotten the key twice on solo runs. It's just the good old RNG.
