Double glory!

So we get the exp and rp (with a delay) but we didnt get the glory bonus. Did everyone just forget it or dont care?

    You would have thought that they'd check since they had to activate the 2x rp event. Apparently not. It would have been good for those to get artifacts to get 8x return on rp for regular artifacts. Luckily I was lazy anyway.

    We know do not care about the game but care only for money but please let's put what you say in the game :)

    While I agree that we should have recieved the double glory in addition to the double xp and double rp, why is it that a thread about the lack of double glory doesn't pop up until the last day of the event?

    I think the PVPers are all over in gameplay section fighting over the TR heh.

    I think PVP players just don't care about double glory. You can't really earn much from that too much.

    so six people mentioned something about it not working at the start of the event, once again I do feel that we should have recieved the double glory, but if it was that big of an issue with us not getting it don't you think that a bigger stink would have been raised at the start of the weekend? It was a large enough issue that the double rp didn't work at the start, but yet it didn't seem to be to mig of an issue that double glory didn't work based off the comunities reaction.

    So you guys really think that because i said it at the last day we dont deserve what they announced weeks earlier?

    Edit : btw i thought that it was a bug like x2 RP and they were about to fix it but they did not. so here i am

    Are you kidding me? 2x Glory means there should be 2x Glory. Double glory is probably the second most unrewarding one of the 2x events after double seals and it is affecting a minor group of players, but the devs screwed up. No excuses.

    No, I just think PVP players don't care about double glory. The rewards for double glory aren't good enough anyways.

    Or more likely most pvp players are already maxed out on Glory in anticipation of the new pvp armor. If the Drow set had been released and there had been no x2 Glory I imagine there would have been a big hoo ha made. As it is there's not much to do with Glory and people are generally so jaded and disappointed in Cryptic to not even bother mentioning yet another screw up.

    They should have replaced it with 2x professions xp. :)

    Or they could always host 2x professions xp and double glory this coming weekend to redeem themselves . . . :)

    some people want glory for armor, some for artifacts and some doesn't even need it . im a pvp player and maybe i dont need it but just want it, why do you care?

    This is actually way worse tha it seems. I had a plan for teh natual 20 weekend: get the bloodcrystal artifact thanks to double glory and then refine it thanks to double RP. I'm not a regular pvper so I didnt notice I'm supposed to get more glory than i was getting, but I did notice it wasnt enough to get the artifact. so I abandoned my plan. If they would fix that in time (like the double RP) I'd be owning an epic bloodcystal ravel skull right now. frustrating, isnt it?

    I actually made a post for the missing double glory. I am surprised that no one replied my post.
    The reasons I guess:
    1. Focusing on double RP, no time farming glory;
    2. 'The pvp suprise' two weeks ago, many people have maxed glory;
    3. Many people already have their Power artifact to the legendary;
    4. Hoping the Devs finally found out that, and give another double glory event. Maybe after drow sets released.

    But anyway, it is not players fault. We did told Devs the double glory was missing. They were too busy to fix the mistake.

    I'm sure a few of us wouldn't mind word on the pvp surprise that was supposedly coming 2 weeks ago but didn't.

    I wouldn't mind either. Unfortunately, I have no details I can share about that at this time.

    I am getting "Shocked" every pvp match multiple times, i had enough surprises already :)

    I hope you'll find a solution to the problem I (and probably others had). The double glory event + double RP event was interesting to me, because I planned on getting a new artifact and also refine it.

    If this is referencing the Drow PVP Gear, there is a massive thread about this already, it would be nice to just announce its coming and any logistics you guys are working on can be solved after putting it onto the PTR.

    Make it free on the PTR, let us test it so we know the set bonuses work and all.

    Unless this surprise is some sort of "tournament" like the Russians have, while that will be cool and all, there are MAJOR issues with doing that without fixing the ELO/matchmaking issues.

    Speaking on behalf of the entire PVP community I can say without a DOUBT, we would rather have new maps, new gameTYPES, or Foundry PVP enabled over ANY type of "tournament" you put out there. At the risk of repeating myself. I know the biggest objection raised for Foundry PVP was that is splits the community, If you treat Foundry PVP like GG is currently, it would not do that.

    Let Foundry PVP run doing the PVP hour only. No Glory, no rewards, just fun. It would require no matchmaking system, just whoever Ques up for it, go into it once it has 10 people. DONE.
