yep. its not only TRs spamming bloodbath but EVERY class is spamming dailies. i had a premade few weeks ago wherein the enemy CW just keep spamming oppressive force THRICE per minute in the middle node, at the same time our CW was doing it too, it was so disgusting it looked liked a fight from dragonball Z.
So disgusted by being slammed by oppressive force THRICE per minute, I went to an end node. Lo and behold, the TR has a bloodbath ready for me EVERY TIME I tried to fought him.
Someone made a post about DC artifact being OP and of course people will defend it like "blah blah blah my PvE gameplay will be affected!". Good way of tweaking this is making an AP-Gain Depression so it doesn't affect PvE (like completing tiamat would be harder, derp)
I have no problems of dailies being a strong move because it was DESIGNED not be spammed when the game came out. The availability to cast it should be toned down to revert to its original design.
if certain classes were intended to have dailies ready every time then those dailies should be at mediocre level.
Certain classes ARE designed to have higher AP gain. For GFs Con directly boosts AP gain. The trapper CAPSTONE gives 20% AP. I think we need to have DR depression instead. Sure it affects 1/2 GWF's con bonus and the capstone for Sent but you know... fairnes.....
Edit, "I support any nerf that affects builds I am not using more harshly than the ones I am using..."

totally agree.
there is a pic from a domination match somewhere, showing a tr going 78/1 k/d. And thats on a 27min Domination. Besides any "breaks" there are on TRs and no matter how weak the opponent is, stats speak the truth.

I dont really know what to say. I have experienced the spamming of dailies and ehh dont both me the dc just eats them anyway as well as the rest of the party on point. Now let me say what cant be eaten. Is 1 the perma stun/disable HAMSTER from HR and TR. Also keep in mind that some classes dont even need a full ap bar to used a daily (which makes absolutely no sense). I dont think it should change unless class mechanics are going to be changed. For a cw oppresive force is a halfass safe guard from broken stun/disable mechanics being spammed. And I say halfassed because nearly every class has a way out of some cc's except the cw..... Once again it makes not one bit of sense......
totally agree.

Right but he is not saying to just nerf the ap gain of a tr but all classes. And surly not all of us are able to manage such a feat as 1 kill per 20 sec.... hell i wish i could XD
Also in the tr defense their daily can actually be dodge and fairly not to difficult to do either. Unlike a certain class that only need 25% ap for a daily >.>
look, the devs are not going to institute "AP Gain Depression". because it would disproportionately hurt the weaker players. weaker players really need their AP gain much more than the Legendary DC Artifact, Legendary Artifact Cloak wielding players. and as we all know, the devs consider balance from the point of view of the "average" player, not the BiS top-end player.
so if you continue to insist that AP gain be nerfed, the simplest solution for the devs is just to nerf the DC artifact. just like they nerfed the Emblem artifact, just like they nerfed Tenebrous enchants, just like they nerfed all sorts of HAMSTER. so don't give them any ideas.

Crapshi* of an argument. Weaker players are not up to par with stronger players because they're weak in the first place. They don't need, nor deserve some sort of special concessions -- what they need is to spend as much time/effort/money/whatever. If being weak is what gets them killed so often, then becoming not weak is what they need to do, instead of bend/curb rules towards their favor.
Dailies are special powers. It's not meant to be used so often like an encounter. If there is equipment that allows you to charge up AP so often as to be able to use it every 30secs (or 25s, in the video where crollax used 7 x BBs within a span of 3 minutes), then by all means the artifacts are plain WRONG.

I can say the same about TR nerfs your kind so passionately support. "Oooooh man, how is a lower GS TR supposed to fight higher GS people? I say leave all the damage buffs alone, so a 9k TR has some chance of defeating a 19k GS opponent"
The insane rate of AP-gain is a factor that effects all areas of the game. Both PvP AND PvE. If the power was at first designed so you couldn't use it every 30s, then by all means, you shouldn't be.
Stop making excuses. Be a man. If you know something to be broken, stop using it. Otherwise, you've got no right to be speaking of 'balance.'

Oh pardom me sir. Are you a 1337 PVPer? How 1337 are you???? Top 10%? 5%? If so basically you are saying that the game needs changes that won't help, and may hurt, 90-95% of the server pop. Are you quite sertain this is in any way a good idea?

Probably around top 2% according to the leaderboard -- which I'm mentioning since you asked, and there's no other standard to be used.

I dunno, is consficating wrongly distributed narcotics from a group of people that shouldn't be using it "hurting" them?
My turn to ask.
Obviously, you shouldn't have any beef with TRs being able to spam daily powers every 25s then, right? It's gonna hurt 90~95% of the TR population, you know, right?
Stop making excuses. Be a man. If you know something to be broken, stop using it. Otherwise, you've got no right to be speaking of 'balance.'
TRs are a little broken right now in PVP. Something is usually every mod. Every class gets to be the FOTM. At one point SB GFs were OP. This does little to change my point. what qualifies as a 'good idea' competing in the top couple of percent is likely unballancing and disruptive to the vast majority of players. It is a common, foolish position you see too often in the forums (forum users, by the way, are also a minority of the bame pop). Top PVPers are, by definition, a minority of the player base. Changing the game based upon their desires is imminently foolish. And again, as I pointed out earlier, AP gain is integral to some classes and builds so nerfing it essentially over-penalizes these builds. Which may not be a problem for the 2% of the game pop you are competing with.

It is not a desire... it is a need. Ap builds are nothing new and last time they were used devs completely nerf them leaving users for months with broken builds since they couldnt even change the enchants. Keep it this way and pretty soon you;ll face perma immunity GWFs and we;ll see how good you;ll feel then...
A need for 1 in 20 or 1 in 50 players? That's not a need. It is a desire experienced by a small minority. I mean do you remember mod2? I have already faced indestructable death machine GWFs.

The "PvErs need it" excuse is simply boring, as well as been shredded to nothingness countless times before.
Just because AI-controlled NPCs don't vocally speak out in forums doesn't mean everyone is free to use whatever methods to infinite extremes -- and quick and easy dailies made possible with the current trend of thoughtless "goodies" tossed in appeasement to the masses by the devs, are just that.
The PvE scene is already flooded with power inflation with people clearing stuff like Garakas within 30 seconds. There is no epicness in any of the dungeon content, and generally the PvE scene nowadays is simply treated as a spend-some-time chore with steamrolling AoE builds -- if anything, the people certainly don't need to add in more DPS/utility to a mode of game which is already too easy.
As has been mentioned countless times, dailies are special powers with either special level of utility or damage. It adds to the class special funtions or powers with a "once-per-day" conditional limit in actual D&D, and although such restrictions are off in this MMOG format there are still restrictions in its frequency. A skill/spell which is powerful enough to warrant limited use -- often the conditions requiring a certain amount of time spent in collecting 'special points' - AP.
And then these new artifacts -- it simply destroys the limits which is imposed upon such powers for a reason. When someone picked up the video of brollax fighting two BiS-geared/top-level players and defeating them both, it showcased use of a TR daily for a total of SEVEN times in under 3 minutes, averaging in around 25s per use. That's already on the level of long-recharge encounters like Bait and Switch. It's now officially more than just a metaphor -- people are literally using dailies as if they were encounters.
This is plain wrong in PvP, and as much, plain wrong in PvE. Limited frequency of different powers is what compells us to learn game-related stuff like exercising caution, knowing when and where to use powers in what manner, and relying on different types of classes to overcome the moments of your weakness. Instead, using special powers like a kid eating out of his mom's candy jar is simply dumbing down the game to make it no different from a chimp pushing a button and receiving rewards.
No sir, people don't NEED it, nor should they ever NEED it.
I'm a TR. My class is the single class that would benefit the most out of this easy-peasy AP gain. Our dailies like BB or Shox are simply OP as hell and as a TR I'd definately benefit infinitely when I am able to use these dailies with impunity. But I don't want to be able to do this in PvP, as well as I don't want to be able to do this in PvE, and as much no one should be able to do this anywhere.
AP related stats should be removed completely, and replaced with something else. Something that effects combat in a less direct manner.
Stop making excuses. Be a man. If you know something to be broken, stop using it. Otherwise, you've got no right to be speaking of 'balance.'

Hmm. funny. I did not even mention PVE once. Just that the top few percent of PVP players are in no way representative of the player base at all. In any way. Ever. Because they are not. I suppose it would be nice to set up that straw man then knock it down but I had thought we were talking about depresssion as a PVP mechanic so PVE should not apply at all. My argument (to any vaugely intelligent competant individual) applies soley to PVP players who were simply not at the top ranks. I appologize if that (simple, clearly stated) point sailed effortlessly over your head. I need more crayons to draw a more descriptive picture as clearly simply stating it is insufficient. If you have a point that does not draw PVE into a discussion that does not involve PVE (at all, what so ever) please put it forward. I welsome you to join the discussion.
yes i totally agree with you. (not!)
what tools do you people need in order to "dodge the red". where is the difficulty in dodging the red ? 'cos that's all needed for PVE. dodge the red!

PVPers getting a useful PVE tool nerfed...
the title is
"PvP needs AP-Gain Depression"
PEE-VEE-PEE needs EI-PEE-gain De-pre-ssion.
where in the world did you find PvE in that sentence?
thats because there is a bug in a certain power from the artifact offhand bonus with the DC
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kF_abhbLbX4&feature=youtu.be
because the result is going to be the DC artifact getting nerfed.
