Any cheap way to refine Artifact equipment?

well i guess cheapest way to refine artifact was using shards but i couldnt figured it out it about artifact weapons. Do you guys have any suggestions?

If you're trying to refine artifact equipment, you CANNOT use enchantments or shards. You can refine artifacts that are NOT classified as "equipment" (e.g. Lantern of Revelation, Heart of the (color) Dragon, etc.) but NOT equipment (main hand, off hand, belt, and so forth).
You CAN, however, use identified level 60 equipment (it must match the level of the equipment, but at this point all arti equipment is level 60, so....) of any grade to refine your belts and such. A 2x multiplier is given for equipment that matches the type of your artifact (for ranged weapons such as pact blades, orbs, symbols, and the like....although oddly enough the 2x bonus is given to greatswords and longswords but NOT daggers....). So, you could get cheapie rare and epics that match your desired artifact and refine with those, but the AD/RP ratio isn't really ideal. Occasionally you can catch blue equipment on the AH for <500 AD.

I think the idea with Rank 4's is buy a ton of them, wait for the 2xRP day, then sell them for a profit as people frantically try and get their upgrades in...then use the profits to buy the type of RP item you actually need.
I can't even fathom at almost 700k for a stack of lesser reso's how much it would costs at current prices to get a legendary. Once again, those who haven't been in the game forever, and those who don't exploit previous bugs to get massive amounts of AD, get screwed.

That's about all you can do now, unless you have loads of AD to spend on the now pricey Peridot stacks . . . (100k AD for 99 I think)

Artifact Equipment from Epic to Legendary = 4000000 RP
I know the above figures are not exact but pretty close for sake of the argument.
Most likely RP drop is about 500 RP. Granted you can get up to 10k RP is one drop if you are very lucky, but it is very unlikely you will get stacks of these.
1 stack of 500 RP = 500 RP x 99 = 49500 RP (99000 RP on a x2 weekend)
Amount of stacks to get to Epic = 10.10 or 11 ( 6 for x2 weekend)
Amount of stacks to get from Epic to Legendary = 81 (41 for x 2 weekend)
With Dragon Horde ICD around 3 mins average, average time to farm 1 stack is 297 mins.
Time to farm stacks to get to Epic = 3267 mins (1634 mins for x2 weekend). 54.45 hrs (27.225 hrs for x2 weekend). 2.26 days (1.13 days for x2 weekend).
Time to farm stacks to get from Epic to Legendary = 24057 mins (12029 mins for x2 weekend). 400.95 hrs (200.475 hrs for x2 weekend). 16.70 days (8.35 days for x2 weekend).
Just something to think about and that is just for 1 piece of equipment, now multiply by 4.
So do NOT buy ranks 4s unless u want to refine the artifacts at the bottom (tried to be as clear as possible so that u do actually get some help since u insisted ..

Yes you can, but it doesn't work as good as artifacts. I tested it a while ago, and the breaking point of where you start to lose RP is at level 3. So if you have spare artifact equipments, then go ahead, but don't go out of your way to get one to use as RP.

Note it says average. While the ICD may be somewhere near 30s for non-foundry, for some classes and those with only 4% to get a drop, it can take anywhere up to 3 mins to get a drop. Your time may vary, but at most those times are fair for most of the classes in this game. Also most grinding would usually be done inside a farming foundry meaning 3 mins is more than likely.
