isnt the 10% incoming healing bonus (IHD) boon better than 3% lifesteal boon as IHD includes Lifesteal?

No, 10% incoming healing increases means you get +10% healing from all sources.

+3% LS is +3% no matter what, while +10% IncH can mean +0% LS if you have no LS.

    10% base life-steal
    3% life-steal = 30% bonus to life-steal
    10% incoming heal = 1% life-steal

life-steal always wins unless you have 30% in life-steal

oh ok 3% of 10% is aprox 3)% increase to 13%. got it

    say you have 10% Ls do 1000 damage = 100hpts plus 10% ihb = 110hpts, wheras 13% LS = 130hpts returned

huh? its not 3 x lifesteal its an additional 3% right?

i meant that if you have 10% life-steal, then 3% more is a 30% improvement to heals gained through life-steal. in comparison to that, incoming heal is just a flat 10% on the final number, but it affects regen and heals from other classes.

    it's like choosing between having 13% life-steal and 11% life-steal.

    this is correct.

However it doesn't really matter. Just choose 3% lifesteal with Boon 5, 10% Incoming Healing with Boon 6, and 5% Crit Sev with boon 7.

Unless you are a cw then you might consider control bonus in there somewhere.

Depends on class and play style; lifesteal only works while you are dealing damage. But if you're a Cleric or carry a summoned healing companion with you then you are receiving heals all the time, in and out of combat. This fact should at least be taken into consideration along with the differences in stats change.

depends on the class and path. As a ren cw LS is kinda a wise. Good to have but not something I place much worry in stating.

the critical severity seems to work on my base crit severity
I am half elf = 76 crit severity and with the buff I get 81.2 (~76*105%)

does it take into account vorpal as well?

what is control strength? is it control bonus or control resist? or both...
