one problem with GWF is that it isnt possible to slot all the at-wills you need, while other classes need 1 (SW blight) or 2 at-wills(like GF Cleave for damage and TR for utility), other at-wills being minor bonus, gwf would need 3 slots since there is 1 single target(sure) 1aoe(wicked) and TR/WMS for damage boost, the only other class with that problem is ranged HR with Split+rapid+aimed
Swordmaster could live with 2 - Sure+ WMS since there isnt that much difference vs Wicked, but Swordmaster lacks decent options for marking as dps, they are forced to use tank skill - daring shout.
IV needs 3 at-wills - Sure+Wicked+TR since fights mostly consist of 1 or 2 stronger targets, where sure is better, and few weak targets where wicked is better, on top of that we need to mark targets cause its a huge part of our damage, and one of few utilities we have left
Also artifact weapons promote use of a single at-will for damage and 1 for utility instead of both for damage
So the GWF needs reliable way to mark targets without TR, leaving it as PvP gap closer, and, maybe, remake of at-wills so we get smth like cleave, or reduced difference in dps between wicked and sure so wicked is generally better with sure being slightly better at bosses, or sure could get some cone aoe.
And we need marks added to some aoe skills, like not so fast for example, if not directly then with tier 1 or 2 feat, preferably the way you can get it along Powerful Challenge, maybe they could be merged, or moved to Instigator with sent focusing more on threat
Gwf right now need complete rework we have almost no survaviblity,dmg and cc we stuck with lowest base dmg among all classes and probly the longest CD of skills also our joke of class ability require tons of dmg taken and last few seconds i have no idea what future hold for us but right now i see no point to play as gwf.
i log on only for leadership and to check how much ad ill make from my 700k i spent at the end of mod4 on RP
i think gwf isnt as far from ok, some QoL changes might bring it close

As a destroyer build, I think I would be happy if the threat-related part of Intimidation was just built into Daring Shout and Come and Get it. Marking things or pulling them next to me does very little when they immediately go charging after the wizard or ranger that's nuking them.
But then it would just become ranged-classes nuke things that stand next to the GWF, so you'd want to nerf the ranged classes. And if you nerfed the ranged classes I wouldn't need threat bonus so much.
But the devs have shown pretty much no inclination to nerf the ranged classes (particularly CW), so . . . I don't know man.

The whole issue about all of this, is that ranged strikers should not hit harder than melee. What's a GWF to do when his agro is stolen? Throw his sword at them?
Other classes have been given too much damage now. Got a TR that can just pounce ToD baddies and kill em before they can even retaliate. My GWF rushes in, half the time ends up getting frozen by white dragon cultists or knocked around like a ragdoll.
Effort should be rewarded with damage, the GWF has to put up the most in a hard fight. They don't get utility options or escape buttons.

One can't deny, that the low level GWF is SOOOOOOOOOO weak and boring to play. SW get's their nuke at level 15, GWF has to wait till 50 just to be competent.
Yeah GWF's at wills are pretty weak, been that way for the longest too.
Reaping Strike needs a substantial increase in damage.
Sure Strike can use a moderate increase ( and not that 4th hit bull, unless they leave the damage where it is and upgrade the damage of the last hit by 50% and gave it a slight wider cone)
Wicked Strike a Substantial increase with its difficulty in breaking loose the animation, if its going to be a pure aoe damage ability with moderate speed, it needs that damage to be much more significant.
Weapon Master's Strike a slight damage increase.

So, if the devs do give the GWF a higher base damage for example along with some higher damage resistance, the forum will be flooded with "nerf this" threads because some 20+k GS Sentinel was killing all the wizards and clerics and god forbid rangers in PVP..

Sure strike hits like a limp noodle.
Threatening rush has too much delay after marking a target, giving opponents an easy second to get out of sure strike range again.
I can never even slot wicked strike because I have to keep TR for mark. When I do slot it, the damage is too low and the root affect everybody keeps mentioning is super unforgiving when all the adds chase the CWs and you can't even land it.

Coming from a 20k GS GWF, the class is unplayable PvP wise.
I have stopped playing neverwinter for PvP and play LOL (League of Legends) instead.
PvE wise I do some stuff, here and there but that is starting to get boring. There are other games with much better PvE content.

GWFs are even getting wrecked by DCs in pvp now.
This. WMS should not be there only as a boost for Sure strike.
