Foundry editor placement bug

This may have been reported before, I know I've seen others talk about it before somewhere on the forums, and it has been plaguing me. There is a bug in the 2D editor of the Foundry that is causing all assets to be misplaced up and to the left. This asset placement offset bug seriously drives me crazy and I've heard of other authors who couldn't get deal with it, and stopped trying to make foundry quests because of it. I drag the asset (be it a detail, NPC, Encounter, whatever) here:

And the editor drops it here:

I have tried turning off snap-to-grid, but it has no effect. The amount of offset does not seem consistent (sometimes it's barely noticeable, but usually significant); but the frequency of occurrence is easily above 90%, if not 100% of the time. This makes using the 2D editor at all a serious hassle, and virtually pointless. Why use the 2d editor at all, if it ALWAYS puts it in the wrong place, and 3d editor doesn't?

What view mode do you have your game set to?
If I use windowed or fullscreen views this cursor/offset happens to me too in 2D editor. If you're not in windowed maximumized try switching to that.
