TR Executioner Feat: Shadowborn NOT working

Shadowborn: This feat gives you 100% power rating on your first attack inside stealth mode.

I've had 2 other TR friends test this out to confirm it, as well as myself. It does NOT give you 100% power rating on your first stealth attack damage.

Example Test:

Base power: 7200.
(500 power = 3% damage)
Shadowborn feat gives 2x power rating, so 7200 x 2 = 14,400 power for your first attack in stealth. This is confirmed true as I see my power rating double on my stats panel when I go into stealth mode.

Side Note: First Strike passive ability is inactive.

1. Executing Lashing Blade Encounter in stealth as my first attack gives 35,000 damage on average.
2. Executing Sly Flourish (at-wills) in stealth, and then executing lashing blade before stealth ends - lashing blade deals 32,000 damage on average (because it is not the first hit in stealth, and shadowborn feat does not apply to it).

35,000 damage is NOT a 100% power increase from 32,000 damage.

Proof: 14,400 power / 500 power = 28.8 ... x 3% damage = 86.4% more damage for shadowborn feat.
32,000 damage x 0.864 = 27,648 more damage.
Thus, 32,000 + 27,648 = 59,648. This is what the true damage of lashing blade should be when Shadowborn feat is applied to it. Yet, it is only 35,000 damage average.

Please leave intelligent feedback, and hopefully devs can fix this soon.

    Your calculation is all wrong, 500 power is 3% more damage compared to if you had zero power. You have to compare power increase compared to current power so 14,400 to 7,200 which is around a 30% damage increase not 86%.

    Shadowborn Work As Intended.
    35,000 damage is NOT a 100% power increase from 32,000 damage.

    Proof: 14,400 power / 500 power = 28.8 ... x 3% damage = 86.4% more damage for shadowborn feat.

    Critical Damage Calculation in Pve for TR is :

    Damage = [C1* (1+(STR-10)/100)* ((1+WD*0.00846)* (0.9+rank/10)* (1+power*0.00006))] * (1+Σ crit severity %+ 0.15 + (1+(CHA-10)/100 ) * (1+ your RI% - enemy DR %)

    C1 = ability damages, a damage co-efficient unique to each ability

    STR = Strength

    WD = Weapon Damages ( Main hand + off hand )

    rank = the number of points invested in a skill ( 1, 2, 3 )

    power = your power at the moment of the attack.

    Σ crit severity % = your crit severity at the moment of the attack ( usually, 0.80 for a half orc, 0.76 for half-elf, 0.75 for others races + 0.15 from executionner first tier feat, + 0.50 if Lashing Blade. )

    RI% = your resistance ignored ( usually 24% for a pve TR = 2535 Armor Pen. )

    DR% = Damage Resistance of your ennemy ( usually, 24% for a Boss )

    CHA = Charisma.

    This calculation is a base, here, no Combat advantage bonus from artifacts, gear, boons, and no Weapon Enchant effect.

    Example :

    A human executionner TR with 20 points in Strength, 1006 max Weapon Damage from Draconic weapons set, Lashing Blade at rank 3, 5000 Power, 18 points in Charisma, and 24% Arp/Resistance ignored.

    Against a Boss with 24% Damage Resistance.

    Assuming Ability Damage of Lashing Blade is 367, data from Official Wiki.

    Maybe it really 367, maybe not.

    1) No points in Shadowborn.

    Damages =

    [367* (1+(20-10)/100)* ((1+1006*0.00846)* (0.9+3/10)*(1+5000*0.00006))] * (1+(0.75+0.15+0.50)+0.15+ (1+(18-10)/100 ) * (1+0.24 - 0.24)

    =

    [367* (1.1)* (9.51)* (1.2)* (1.3)] * (3.63) * (1) = 21740.

    2) 5 points in Shadowborn.

    Damages =

    [367* (1+(20-10)/100)* ((1+1006*0.00846)* (0.9+3/10)*(1+10000*0.00006))] * (1+(0.75+0.15+0.50)+0.15+ (1+(18-10)/100 ) * (1+0.24 - 0.24)

    =

    [367* (1.1)* (9.51)* (1.2)* (1.6)] * (3.63) * (1) = 26758.

    In this case, 100% power = +23% damages.

    167 Power = 1% damage bonus compared to if you had zero power.

    Do not overestimate the impact of the power in the overall calculation.

    Thanks to Kaelac for datas.

    Alright, lemme see:

    For the second attack (32,000 damage) you had 7200 power = 43% damage increase. Crit damage is then 32,000/1.43 = 22,378 damage.

    With power doubled, you had 14,400 power = 86% damage increase. Crit damage is then 18,817.

    Both of them crit, with possibly a vorpal involved:

    Base damage = Crit damage / 1 + .75 (default crit sev) + .5 (lb from stealth) + .5 (p. vorpal)

    Base damage on second attack = 8137
    Base damage on first attack = 6843

    My Lashing Blade has a damage range of 4,940 - 5,943 damage. Let's assume that your second attack hit at the higher range, and calculate your damage range from there.

    8137/5943 = damage ratio of your damage versus mine = 1.37
    Your damage range = my damage range * 1.37 = 6768 - 8137

    And there you go, your numbers are within the damage range of your Lashing Blade. Looks like the feat IS working, your first shot was just in the lower end of the damage range while your second shot was in the higher end.
