Absolute Fastest & Cheapest way to acquire Main Hand Artifact?

Long story short: Is buying 6 URL="http://neverwinter.gamepedia.com/Dragon_Forged_Steel"]Dragon Forged Steel[/URL off AH THE Fastest & Cheapest way to obtaining Main Hand Artifact?





I've been looking at this Tyranny of Dragon Campaign for a couple days now and it really confuses me why would one do all the Campaigns up to Dragon Forged Artifact if he can just buy one by exchanging 6 URL="http://neverwinter.gamepedia.com/Dragon_Forged_Steel"]Dragon Forged Steel[/URL without doing any Daily Quest?


Now let's look at the cost of obtaining Main Hand Artifact via Dragon Forged Artifact Quest here: Total = 113,000 AD + 11 Days of Waiting (20 hours * (3+5+5))


And just buying 6 URL="http://neverwinter.gamepedia.com/Dragon_Forged_Steel"]Dragon Forged Steel[/URL off AH then exchange it with the guy in Well of Dragons:
60,000 AD (or 30,000 AD, 60 Gold, 300 Dragon Hoard Coins) for 6 URL="http://neverwinter.gamepedia.com/Dragon_Forged_Steel"]Dragon Forged Steel[/URL
Total = 60,000 AD + 0 Days of Waiting (and believe me this is cheaper than some Blue Weapons selling on AH)


Now I've noticed this quote here "Artifact weapons can only be acquired from the URL="http://neverwinter.gamepedia.com/Dragon_Artifact_Chest"]Dragon Artifact Chest[/URL." on this page (http://neverwinter.gamepedia.com/Artifact_weapon), but as with many things on Wiki they aren't up to date. So am I understanding it right here? If I want Artifact Weapon, I just pay 60,000 AD at AH, then run to the Dwarf in Well of Dragons to exchange it for the Artifact in 2 minutes?
