This module was supposed to remove perma stealth rogues however even more people are abusing it with an even easier time PLUS more damage. This seriously needs to get fixed. I'm sick of getting auto crit by 10k damage gloaming cuts. Something is wrong when they can 3 hit you with an at will and you never can see them. In all honesty there are a lot of things that need balancing but fix this issue asap.
I am fine with perma stealth. But getting hit for 10k gloaming cuts on a 22kgs pvp HR, and BB for 30k-40k dmg, while the TR practically is perma stealth AND perma dodge... no way u can catch a TR these days.
As a non-stealth based TR, I agree. I base my build off of survivability and Crit, using DF as my main source of damage, and as many 'cc' based encounters as possible. I hit up to 10k per DF with an additional 3k or so bleed. I originally made this class for stopping the TR's with perfect vorpals from destroying any domination game.
Didn't work - at all, TR's with perma-stealth can stay on 1 flag the whole game, almost instantly killing anyone who enters the capture radius without even being seen or touched, and if i manage to see the guy, and maybe get a flurry aimed at him, he's dashed and dodged to the other side of the map and went invis again.
Whoever thought invisibility in a multiplayer game was a good idea? Not even being able to see the competition is truly pathetic at times.

I've experienced the same thing multiple times and I end up leaving that node for another one. It's totally useless to try to beat an enemy you can't even see in a timed match like that.
My absolute favorite is the perma that does nothing but hits you with disheartening strike and then runs away for the rest of the time. 20k damage from an AT WILL so even if you dodge, guess what, here comes another. I was in a match with teammates all above 17k against a team of 15k and below. The 11k TR was perma stealth and dealing 20k damage to anyone they came across. Something is seriously wrong when an 11k which you can't even see goes 20-1 against a superior team.
@ mindi1 it couldnt be from normal 11k... how much dmg did the attack overall`? amy proof`?
maybe he is glass canon build so he has no deffense only power stacking somehow... only one posiblity.. this dmg stacking and your hp real low.
my rogue 18 k and i cant 1 hit with that if gs gear difference is normal...
this is normal main debuff from the wk tree.. many classes has it like hr and dc ...
he could also 1 hit you with lashing blade because your HP is very low and you dont know how to conter attacks etc. pvp is highly different from playing vs computer...gs, skill, knowldege etc.
the thing is also the high gs difference which every module will be increased!
thats why i think the classes got the "piercing damage" talents so also low gs have a bonus vs the immortal high gs...
the team ballance in pvp is also very bad like the ranking system...
I'm a 22k SW soulbinder damlock I have 39k in hp 13k in tot def and I'm stunned and 1 shot to death by tr's since mod 5. I'm running everything I can to be defensive but I don't stand a chance anymore. I have gone from being a hunter in pvp to the hunted. If I'm 5k gs over an avg tr you should think I would be at least an equal match for a tr but I'm not. I'm stunned so can't defend can't attack can't dodge then 1 shot killed how is that balanced? Even if I dodge the stun I still can't attack and can't defend against the attack. Even if I do get an attack they simply disappear before I can kill them then they kill me. I've been in pvp matches where we clearly overmatched at least on paper until you get a couple of 15k or so tr's show up and kill at will against an entire team of 18k plus. How is this not broken. This last mod has broken pvp, no one wants to run anything now but tr's. I have one it's 13k but I don't like the class so don't play it. So even though pvp is what I like the best I wont play pvp again until this will be address. AKA Torinn Smog
THE biggest problem is many just dont know how to fight a rogue because how weak the rogue was he was in full background, now he is equal to other classes on same relative gs/skill status.
If you have biggest problem with that class you should adjust your ability and build to this class... like all did for op cw ... now the cw and( gwf and some GFs also) still can stunlock kill you ! but this is other story.
if you have problems in pvp you should first think whats the main problem for you... what i can see you said stun and stealth.
also you should know this game isnt made for only 1v1. its teamplay priority because im so fu kind : here is the fix soltuion in real pvp envirement vs rogue:
>> play more agressive = as long as you dmg the rogue he cant go in stealth back dont let him go out of range to refill stealth. and block him to use death strike for stealth -back (if he has)
>> use aoe attacks to get and see the rogue in stealth /and the anti stealth artefact.
>> Know how rogue play, conter the attacks use right dodge in time, especially.
>> for cc problems use anti controll ablitys /artefacts, talents, controll resists, slows ec
>> cc the rogue so he cant get close when you allways in move and dodge a lot especially rogue in stealth
>> if you stand still when rogue is stealthed you dead.... right movement is one of the most important parts in pvp many dont know.
@ mindi1 it couldnt be from normal 11k... how much dmg did the attack overall`?... this dmg stacking and your hp real low.
You seriously need to learn how to read. I clearly stated that the 20k damage from an at will was disheartening strike which is a damage over time. Given the addition of piercing damage which completely ignores armor even at 11k they can do insane damage against my 18k TR. Low HP isn't the issue. Being capable of such high damage on top of being perma stealth... that is what my post is about. Clearly if you can't keep the focus on the original topic, you shouldn't be posting here.
High damage, fine. Perma stealth, eh but ok I guess. However when the two are combined and you're getting killed in under 10 seconds by something you never see, there are some serious balance issues.
Take away the perma stealth or nerf their damage into the ground, I don't care which but you shouldn't have both.
perma stealth means no encounter damage, so dont complain from high at-will damage, because we spec the character to hit high damage on at-wills only.
TR's who are perma die in 1 or 2 encounter hits from all classes esp HR's and CW's, others kill them too but are easier to dodge.

I'll say this again -
"There is no such thing as perma stealth, or you'd never see the Rogue to be able to kill them." We're not the invisible man. You can hit us. When in doubt throw an AoE out there for us to trip on.
I still die enough even with hitting harder. So don't call me "perma stealth" as a misnomer. Just call it ninja skills, or camoflague... camoflodg... superb hiding.
" I tried to figure out the enigma that was you, and then I realized mastering Wild Magic was easier." - Old Wizard in Waterdeep
"Why is it dragons only use ketchup? I'd like a little wasabi please. Us silvers like a variety of condiments."
"Don't call them foolish mortals. One, they don't learn from it. Two, It just ticks them off." - An Ancient Red Dragon
Considering the fact that staying in stealth like that was supposed to be removed, not made easier, it's safe to assume the dev's plan was to prevent permas.
As far as tossing up an AoE how are those without a large radius AoE supposed to touch the rogue in between dodges much less itc? Stealth bomb for instance does absolutely nothing against a perma because of the slow activation time and relatively small effective area in comparison to the mobility of a a rogue in stealth. When a single perma can sit on a point against 3 people and kill them all you can't tell me that's ninja tactics. That's darn near cheating.
If you want to make things fair, reduce the range on disheartening strike so you can't just sit 60' away and launch 20k+ damage in damage over time. When you can run around out of sight and launch massive attacks, there are some issues here. Like I said before, long duration stealth with little damage or low stealth for massive bursts. You can't have it both ways. The same goes for gloaming cut, reduce the damage or remove the stealth regen.
Or better yet, cripple the class completely so you can see them in stealth from farther away. Then there is no more hiding on a point with 3 other people and STILL not being seen.
It doesn't really help much to see a rogue while they're dodging or in itc, now does it?
Dont understand me wrong my post was most part general about rogues!
I dont like perma stealth also. but they have mostly a really bad deffense if you get them they 2 hits dead... for example path of blades vs perma rogues is killer...
