Thought Cryptic had learned about making these types of quests .
There are not enough of these messengers running around , and to cap it of they are ninja-able by others .
This quest really needs to be modified ASAP before the forum complaints start raging about people stealing the messenger out from under them .

Hear, hear. I managed to do it only by camping out at one end of the garrison and intercepting them as soon as they appeared -- and it was still a footrace to interact with them first.

Between this and the reuse of Dread Spire for the shelter quest, I'm shaking my head. Come on, guys, can we please not phone it in?

They respawn really quickly, and spawn in several different places. I have had no problem completing this quest.

If you are playing in a zone with a lot of people doing that quest simultaneously, just switch to another map.

There should be more of them running arround.
If you have 2-3 people doing this quest at same time it will take up to 10 minutes to get everything done ;/

When the messenger is beaten, he can be interacted with by anyone for a while. No, it's not ninjable. It's shareable.

Nonetheless, the spawn rate should be upped a bit. Yesterday I spent like 10 minutes trying to get the last two messengers because there were too many people hunting for them at that time.
    I love to burst bubbles.

Pretty much just more Neverdeath Graveyard pain in the buttsense.

Captive rescue is much easier to ninja. Unlike the Intercept Messenger one where you just interact with the messenger NPC, for the Captive Rescue one you have to kill a whole group of foes, and it's tempting for a ninja to "rescue" a captive while you're busy with the foes.
It was so easy to make this Captive Rescue quest ninja-free. One suggestion among a million of ways: By killing the group of foes, you drop a key that opens the captive's handcuff.
