Mod 5 - Which artifact belt?

I was finally lucky enough to drop a Lathander belt tonight and it had me looking through the new artifact gear on a much closer level.

I'm not really satisfied with any of the new belts or gear sets. None of them seem optimized for a HR. The Lathander (+con/+dex, power, recovery, defense) set feels decent at best (for my combat HR) but I don't have the Lathander's Eye artifact either. I have a dexterity artifact belt half way through rare but I don't see getting all these pieces (including my weapon) to legendary any time in the future.

Should I stick with the dexterity belt or look for an artifact set, and if so stick with Lathander or another?

    I'm glad someone started this thread as I was wondering the same thing. I wanted to buy the Wisdom belt for the Power/Defence/Recovery with the crit bonus but Lathander's Belt has the same stats (and I have Eye of Lathander). Problem is the bonus is +2 Con/+2 Dex. Wish it had been Wisdom instead of Constitution but the fact that my HP is only around 27k as pve HR I am wondering if the Lathander's Belt won't be a good alternative to Belt of Wisdom. I am not considering the Twined Rope of Dexterity due to the ArP on it.

    dex , lathandar , wis belts are all good for the HR , now it depends on what stat you want to min/max and what stat you don't need at all .
    lathandar can be usefull in pvp for the 2% hp tankiness , but personally i didn't like the new belts ,
    i like to boost one stat to the max .

    The Black Ice set is the only dps boost of the ones currently available but once again, just as with the Dex belt and artifact bow, it is Crit/ArP heavy. I currently use Eye of Lathander as my active artifact during dungeon runs - saves a lot of people - and although the set bonus isn't great I might consider going for the set for its stats more than anything else as I am in need of Recovery. Its only the ability bonus of +2 Con/+2 Dex that puts me off slightly.

    In my opinion good in both PvE and PvP, Lathander belt works fine with HR for DPS boost and survivability. In PvE/ PvP the set bonus coincides with soulforged enchantment is great!!!When your are dead, it triggers the revival effect of both soulforged and lathander, which recover you to full health and immunity, instantly. At the same time, it gives additional 500 recovery for you and your teammate.

    I took Lathander´s belt as well for my Trapper. Some more HP are good and some more Dexterity helps. Power, Recovery and Defense are good for a Trapper and the set bonus is a good heal and extra party support, which is what the trapper is in PvE in my view.

    I might go with Lathander's then. Haven't made up my mind yet. I'm strictly PvE but the extra health helps when epic level mobs can hit like trucks. I also like Power and recovery and that would free up some offensive slots but loosing the extra damage from dex is kind of a turn off at the same time. The set bonus proccing with SF sounds great though.

    Problem for me is the factor when I'll ever get the artifact from DR to complete the set. I see that the cloak can eventually be purchased with 15 favors.

    Second problem is that I have my stats worked out to the point where I remove my dex belt, I will be under 24% ArP. Kind of then need the 2 piece bonus from the artifact MH/OH combo and it's still a couple weeks out till Tiamat opens up.

    I took the Belt of Wisdom, which is now at legendary, for my newly specced trapper, former PvPer HR. I believe I was one of the first HRs to use it for PvP when the belts first started coming out, used to get laughed at in PvP for it. No longer ;)
