I've created a "docks" area as the starting zone to my quest, so you can see it without having to play the entire quest (unless you want to...).

It's not going to be eligible for the competition, but hopefully gives the community an idea of what can be created around a harbour theme. It's an area I've called 'Temple Quays'.
Here's a couple of screen shots to entice you to take a further look.
Woohoo!!!
Okay, coupla of questions for clarifying
1) The required visual elements - Must include all four somehow? And must they visually match what is in the game, i.e. I have an idea for a bridge that doesn't look anything like the current Sleeping Dragon Bridge in the game but I call it that?
2) Contest eligibility rules - What is the cut off date for editing, if there is any? For the other eligibility rules, is there a time of day cut off?

1) Yes - all four, NO they don't have to match game at all. (Although something like a covered wooden bridge crossing Neverwinter river from Sleeping Dragon gate might strike people as very odd.) It's mostly just for frame of reference that you are on the north side of the river, at the mouth, down the cliffs from the city.
2) Edited official post: Submit Entries by November 3rd 11:59pm PST...and that would be the last edit time as well.

Thought I'd throw a few idea seeds out there to tickle the imaginations...
Kelemvor had no temple in the pre-destroyed docks and allows the dead to roam freely - perhaps constructing or dedicating some form of temple would appease him and allow the dead to rest.
A particularly nasty pirate managed to clear a passage and construct a makeshift pier to get black market goods into the tunnels under Neverwinter quicker than offloading north of the area.
Sea monster made lair beneath the waves in lava tubes left after Mt. Hotenow erupted.
After Mt. Hotenow, a new crevice to the Underdark opened underneath Neverwinter and Drow have been building pathways into the cliffs in preperation for an assault on Protectors Enclave.
An old sea hag/witch has inhabited one of the larger earthmotes off the docks
Spellscarred have been seen making their way down to the docks area looking to escape the persecution of Lord Neverember and accept aid from the Cult of Blue Flame.
An old crazed derelict swears there are tentacled monsters down at the docks eating peoples brains (i.e. Mind Flayers).
Some squatters have inhabited remnants of dock structures clinging to some earthmotes.
I am! It's not ready yet, obviously. But plan on making it by the deadline!

I would love too, but I am in the middle of working on my Guild Foundries. Perhaps if there is a lack of participation we can maybe move the dealine to the end of November?
I've been working on finally finishing Crossroads lol, so I won't make it by the deadline if I started something now, at least not something I would feel good about...

We'll see how many entries we get. If we don't get at least 6 that might be an option.

Hey eldarth,
I didn't want to post until I was sure I'd be participating, but I've started cooking something up for this and should have it ready for the due date. Still, I would vote for an extended grace period, if it would mean more submissions to play through.
Thanks. I was up there but missed him. Guess I just didn't look close enough. Won't do much good though with the Foundry unavailable. Any guesses as to when it will be back up?
LATER
I found the Merchants Guild Representative but couldn't get him to speak to me. What is the secret to getting him to talk.
It may not be perfect - YET - but loving Neverwinter's Foundry just the same.
Comments
Yep. 2/5ths anyway -- enough for another big contest and maybe a littler one.

You might just win the 1,000,000AD by default if no one else is participating.

He's next to Lord Neverember, on his right hand side.

You should be able to create a story dialog objective and choose him as the NPC.
