It's the 4th or 5th time i was kicked (as was the rest of the party) by the leader from SoT epic and normal when an epic set item dropped (normal runs) or an artifact belt (epic runs). I have reported the player that kicked the party everytime as did the rest, as far as i know, but nothing seems to happen to them since more and more ppl tend to do the same.
Isn't there a way to fix this problem? Since this problem seems to be more and more frequent and the loot that is been lost is very rare and cannot be found in chests (artifact belt), whouldn't be better if the kick in those skirmishes would be made by voting so noone can kick just to get the loot with no loot rolls?

It could have been a lot worse ,if the leader was willing to do that then just thank the gods that you didn't get to the end and get kicked when a boon book or belt dropped ( no idea if they even drop in regular shores though xD )
Why would you keep joining with this person if he keeps kicking people at loot drop? I would be writing down the name and simply leave the party (if you were in the queue) if you saw this person in the party.
Anyway, I am hoping with all the feedback about party kicks that they will implement a "group-vote" kicking mechanic that would require ALL other members of the group to agree to the kick. This mechanic is present in several other MMOs. If this is implemented, someone who tries to kick at boss loot drop could end up being kicked by the other party members instead.

I received an artifact belt from the normal shores key chest. My friend who runs the skirmish more than I do has received a few belts from the normal key chest.
However, I agree that one person having the power to kick others out of a group is too much, especially if the possibility for extremely rare loot exists.
I have been kicked once from shores when the draconic ring dropped. I don't make it a point to pay attention to who the leader is, so I was unable to report it.
Interestingly, I wonder how many of these are people who are greedy and how many are people who don't know that everyone rolls need on the jewelry in shores. I would guess it is mostly greedy people, but there is the possibility that someone who is unfamiliar with the unwritten rules of the skirmish could see people roll need and kick them, thinking the people who rolled need were in the wrong.
I actually saw people roll need in there pretty early on in my adventuring to that place, and I asked someone if people always roll need. Got the answer of yes. Then I paid attention and saw that it was the case.
Kind of gets us back to 'why is there a need and greed option on rolls anyway?' Should only be the option to need on something if it is class specific, and if it is class specific, it should be bind on pickup on a need roll.
That would go a little ways to solving part of this issue, anyway. Solve the other part of the issue by allowing people to vote in skirmishes, and there you go.
Unfortunatly everytime is a new player that kicks so u never know when it will happen to u Of course we leave if we see the same person but the problem remains so yeah it would be nice if devs made this "group-vote" kicking mechanic.
Anyhoo, i suppose the only thing we can do so far is wait and see...
If a valuable item drops and you're on a pug team and you're not the leader, your odds of being kicked are pretty dam good. There is no punishment for doing this, there is no reason for them NOT to do it...
In all my hundreds of runs I never saw a belt or book or ring drop so it never mattered but I hear about this happening a lot more now.

Yes, this happened to me over the weekend. We got a ring drop from normal SoT... didn't even get the chance to chose Need or Greed, found myself at the top of the Halls of Justice in PE.
But, to show that there is still some humanity left in the game, I did another run, and we got the neck piece to drop... everyone rolled... no one was kicked... good for that party... BTW, I did not get the item... but congratted the person who did

Seems to be becoming a real problem.
