Question about my crit chance?

my critical chance is 32.3% with only boons on. I was wondering why it has a -16%?

it states critical chance 32.3% (-16% + 48.3%)

why or where does the -16% come from.


thanks for your replies, I've tried to look this up with no luck.

    Bet it's a Ranger. Mine does the same thing.. due to the feat.

    Edit- Can't think of the name of the feat right now.. stillness maybe? broadhead?

    Good grief - that is a terrible adjustment for the HR! I'd definitely get rid of whatever feat reduces critical chance by 16%!

    There are a few threads about it.. I don't think it is as bad as it sounds. I tried to figure it out and gave up, though. I see enough orange numbers floating so that I don't worry about getting shorted on crit.

    Here's one bit about it..

    This adds up to 27.3%

    buffs 30%

    Tooltip standing right beside target and stillness icon not displayed

    31.3 (8 + 23.3)
    modified by:
    other attrib 18.3%
    buffs 5%

    So it seems like the 25% is being added but also subtracted. Not sure where the 4% is coming from... I get I should have 27.3% without stillness and it displays 31.3%. With stillness I should have 52.3% and it displays the same 31.3%. Guess I will put in a bug report.
