Sorry if this topic has already been addressed but I searched forums and cannot find anything related to a solution

I just purchased Asus GXT970,My Rig : Asus Monitor VG248QE, W7 64b, Asus Rampage IV Formula, 16g ram, Core I7 3820 3.60 ghz ( everything is up to date)
When I try to change game into full screen mode to play 3D it freezes and need to use control manager to close game, I tried running in DirectX 9 same issue. I played in 3D mode / full screen on my GXT 680 with no problems. I can run game in windowed mode no problem but invested in Nvidia 3d and new vid card would like to be able to play in 3D.

Any suggestions are appreciated or please guide me to appropriate post.

Try to switch to DX9 mode. My game crashes all the time when in DX11 mode.

Thanks, I had to try a couple of times to get it to work,
Cannot use DX9 ex must be DX9 also my monitor has 144 h refresh rate but cant go higher than 60 in game settings or it freezes up.

I can run 3D in DX9 60 H refresh, sad when you think that game wont let you enjoy high end settings and equipment

Hmm, if your monitor has 144Hz refresh then it is probably 3dvision ready. Make sure that 3dvision is disabled.
Game used to work in 3d mode few patches ago. now it just crashes on startup screen if 3dvision is enabled.
And about 60Hz - see what monitor says, not game. game shows 60Hz but monitor - 144. Also make sure you disable frame rate limit (which is default 60), otherwise there would be no benefit of 144Hz)
