Power vs Crit Severity

i would gladly hear your opinions/comments about this:

for now i have 11,427 power with ioun and 9550 without ioun..

I'm thinking of replacing Dancing Blade 5% crit severity for Dragonborn brawler which gives 300 additional power..
adding that i dont have the 5th boon from ToD (which i will choose 5% crit severity)..

what do you think?

Depends on your current power and crit chance,
but I would go for crit severity if you dont want to run the numbers.

without running any number the solution is quite stupid....300 power after 10k is like what? 1% more damage?
critical severity is 5% more damage on crits. so basically 1% more damage always with 20% crit.

Unless he's a sentinel GWF  300 power means +150 base damage to intimidation and +1.8% dmg to power modifier. That's so much better than 5% crit severity

forgot to mention. i am a sentinel gwf... with about 43% crit chance and around 11.4k power.. so you prefer 300 power over 5% crit chance? im not into computations xD

Also your current crit severity matters.

I'm not sure, man. That's a TON of power already, so 300 power is like 1% dps. But you probably have a high crit severity too. They might actually be very close in value.

Not sure what do you mean by that man. Everyone knows that power level must be over 9000 with no upper limit.. Go man, fly as high as the sky.. Just do me a favor and dont be just another useless, overgeared Sentinel like that one I PUGed with last night. With 19k GS the guy was just dead weight.

Take home message - its not bout how much power you have, its how you use it
