Preview Shard only allow you to copy the first 8 Character in your Account.

As above, if your have more than 8 character in your account, you will not be able to copy your 9th and above character to the preview shard. The funny part is we can actually have 50 characters in our account and yet we can only copy our first 8 character to the preview shard? Can this issue be look into? Thank you.

The short answer [TAB] key. Click on one of the first 8 chars and [TAB] your way down the list
