As a GWF can someone please enlighten me on how to kill a perma stealth TR who for some reason can also seem to keep his invulnerability up forever and can't be stunned.

TR strat im tired of fighting against - stealth run around the cap come in with invuln melee me run away rinse repeat. I am sure there is a way to fight this effectively but I have just now started to resort to PvP because I am sick of the non existant drops in ToD.

So if someone would please enlighten me I would greatly appreciate it. I am using a full pve destroyer build btw I know it isn't great for pvp.

I assume you don't happen to have frontline surge, right? If that is the case and you still want to squish one of these pesky bugs, just pop a lantern on their butt then finish them off.

Sprint to another point to cap and tell a ranger to go take care of the TR

Hopefully the upcoming rogue changes absolutely destroy the perma builds. Make them completely utterly NON viable in any and every situation. Having said that I also hope they buff the heck out of their damage though.

Use the control CNTRL button to lock onto them. As long as you are running you will always follow them even in stealth. Stun them and wreck them. It is simple. Stealth is obsolete and gwf's / HR's are perfectly equipped to take advantage of this flaw in the game and wreck TR's

Hey OP I have a solution for you!

Use Not So Fast ! It hits in a circle around you and slows the target, that'll teach him!

Even the Developer uses Not So Fast so it must be good :)

You need at least a pvp gear set. PBI is bis, else go grim or profund sentinel. But you need higher hp and regen. Else, you'll lose as a gwf.

When the TR goes ITC, count to 4. He's then gonna roll away into stealth. Anticipate their movements and catch them in stealth, stopping their rotation. Due to lag and stuff it can be hard to catch experienced permas. Learn through experience to read their movements. For example, many permas during stealth just bunnyhop in circle around the node in one direction. I can usually sprint where They will go and takedown. Keep pressuring them and sprint a lot to make it harder for them to hit you. Do not hit decoys.

It's usually a long fight cause They can go hide off-node to recover. But you need tankyness cause against good permas you get kited a lot still due to lag and their ability to dodge/ evade.

There's an artifact that reveals stealthed units... You could just use that too. There's honestly like... no AI in the game that actually stealth. It seems like its perfectly tailored for PvP. -_-

Brilliant I did not know that using the lock on feature would do this. As to other people that have replied thank you for your suggestions. Someone asked if I had frontline surge, no I am currently using a swordmaster build which imo is inferior to a IV build for pvp. That's pretty much why I have been asking if their is a good way to fight TR's I would really like to avoid having to respec every day for pvp as my focus in this game has and always will be pve. Someone else suggested sing the active on the lantern. I have played around with this and find it to be unsatisfying. Sometimes it will give a quick reveal sometimes do nothing at all it just seems very unstable to me.

As a non-permastealth TR, I heartily agree with this (especially so I don't have to read any more whining about it on the forums). Here here.

As a GWF I find come and get it awesome countermeasure against permas. Of course, it's best used on sentinel GWF now that the Intimidation feat got reworked, but it does the job for destroyer as well.

you dont counter a perma alone as gwf.. is nothing you can do against strong TRs. You'll die no matter what skills you are using in 15 sec tops even faster if the second daily comes faster and with dodge, itc and stealth they'll be immune all this time.

Does roar still work to reveal the TR? I remember back in the days of the roar spam GWF, and when asking a few why they constantly chained such a bugged feature I was told repeatedly 'I always have used this before the bug as it shows me TR". Oddly, since the fix I have only ever heard it once so I wondered if it still does this.

Oh yeah I found another one!

Mighty Leap and Punishing Charge work great too because they allow you more movement :)

Not So Fast, Punishing Charge, and Mighty Leap rotation counter the perma TR, and can even kill him !!

have you seen the devs pvp? they suck lol. really no offence to them but my god they expect people to play by the rules with them and it isn't the case at all. lol

and playing a GWF i can tell ya not so fast doesn't work if the rogue is smart enough to watch your encounters ,,, as one who played a stealth rogue for a long time I learned my opponents style and avoided and hell i ran so much regen. it didn't matter. now to combat a perma rogue ,, use your slam dailie ,,, it covers the whole node and when they are taking damage their stealth meter runs out way faster.

There is no deterministic way. That is, you cannot detect him, you cannot evade his attacks, the only DOT the gwf had has also be removed. Your death is a foregone conclusion whatever your gear and skill may be.
You can stand still, raise your 2H sword and hope he will be drunk and charge head first and impale on your weapon, but the chances are low and it would work only in real life anyway.

Now if in can help you living with that, it's the same for the other classes. Which does not mean that the other classes can't handle a perma TR. They can. It means that the mod4 gwf can't handle any other class at all.

You can also ask a SW/CW to help you, SW can use Dreadtheft which still fires and follow them when they go into Stealth. In combination with something else as a Fury SW... let the Creeping Death do the work and since they loose stealth pretty fast this way.. ^^

anyway with same gear tr would need to conect 10 df atleast just dont get caught at any cost, dont kill the bait
    thats a start.
from then on u will figure it out

u have to fear glyph tr tho when 1 df daily can do insane dmg but thats not perma

TR is not a treat anymore specially if you have a teammate like TR, Gf, GWF, SW, CW, they could easily crack down TR stealth. Basic maneuver is get closer to TR you will see TR even stealth. TR place is bottom 2 now last is DC.
