Dates are your friends. It obviously has a massive error in it.
There's no such thing as a Hunter class in D&D let alone a Shadow Hunter. So that's a done deal facepalm worthy error.
As for the druid, no it is not confirmed. However, as stated in that article and others it was alluded to as being the most likely to be worked on next.

Sounds like they just said Shadow Hunter instead of Hunter Ranger. Hunter Ranger was shadowmantle/mod2, right? (I only recently started my ranger.) Anyway, as for the druid, it was not confirmed. But a long time ago in a stream they did say it would be the next class they start to work on. Of course, as you said, it was not confirmed. And certainly plans could have changed since then. And even if it was the next class they started, they might not finish it for years or something. That was said probably even before that article was written. In fact, looking at that quote in the article... I think it actually came from the stream I just mentioned. I remember them saying something very similar there as well.

They also told us somewhere that they plan at least 2 modules ahead and start working on the 2nd one pretty much as soon as something is released, thus it is safe to assume the druid is mostly done (running internal testings and stuff?) and they are already working on the following class (we have no hint about this one, but if they take player feedback into account, there's a strong demand for Paladin class).

Exactly what they did.
And yes that was not an interview or an exclusive to that site. The article repeated info that was detailed elsewhere. Andy mentioned the likelyhood of working on druids in an actual interview.
Even druid isn't really confirmed. The developers said they'd like to do the druid class next but they don't know for sure. That was posted a long time again when I think hunter range game out.
I dont care what class we get as long we dont start on the beach,

LOL! But the beach fits the storyline. This is a role-playing game after all.

After having a Druid In EQ I would hope they would come up with the Druid class what a great Character to play any where. If it had almost all of the abilities as it did in EQ it would be one the best all around character to play My thought is it should be set up as the Dark Elf in Neverwinter one that should be purchased I can see transforming into a wolf or casting sow on in my group to move faster in dungeons etc. What would be really really nice if the Developing team would come out and say it is so !!!

Yes.. please oh god yes... So tired of wilfred... and that area. I'd prefer a whole new story path to be honest. It'd shake things up a bit. Maybe module 6, take 6 months to do it and make us a second story path down in calimport or somewhere other then neverwinter. Yes I know the games called neverwinter, but this place is getting old...

What I'd really like to see for starting areas are something related to your backstory. This would take WAY WAY too long to make, but it'd be awesome. Like if you select you're from Baldur's Gate you actually have your first few tutorial quests IN Baldur's Gate! That would rock. Again, I know they won't do that, as its way too much development time for very little benefit.

Wilfred's death could have been a lot more meaningful if they extended his life so that he helped you in areas leading up to the Plague tower and died while helping you slay Rhazzad or something. But that's a subject for another thread I suppose.

Oh dear....they plan 2 modules ahead. That means that at soonest, module 7 will be when we might get a campaign thats not so grindy.
Guild Houses and the removal of the 500 member limit from guilds (2000 would be a good limit -- the Cloaks already have more than 1000 active characters though, so it would need to be more than 1000 for me to be OK with it...). If that was the only thing in a mod, I'd be very happy.
