Letting the game download fully while not playing?

Just came back to this game (played when it first launched, got bored cause I didn't like any of the classes, but now I've rolled a Scourge Warlock and it's already way more fun than before), and I'm having a bit of a problem here.

I did the "full download" option when I downloaded the game, and thought it was rather suspicious that the game was "fully downloaded" after just over an hour. Well, turns out, it wasn't fully downloaded, because it's still downloading assets as I play. So every time I enter a new zone, or even just a new area of a zone, I get lag, freezes, audio stuttering, ridiculously low-res or nonexistant textures/models, and other annoying stuff while the game downloads patches on the fly.

Now, don't get me wrong, it's nice to be able to play so quickly and I'm always a fan of a download-while-you-play option - but the issue is that I'm not seeing any OTHER option. Launching the NW patcher just checks for an update, then tells me the game is good to go and doesn't download anything. I'd like to be able to run an overnight download so I don't have to deal with this lag and stuttering every time I turn a corner for the rest of the game, but there doesn't seem to be an option for that - unless I'm missing something?

at the launcher, klik the option... tick off the "on demand" for patch. that should do it next time you run the launcher

Ahh, that's what that option means. Thanks!
