Loving my Scourge Warlock

I am doing things with my Warlock that I was never able to do with my other class characters. Now I really like my GWF (Hack & Slash at it's finest), but I always had trouble with the Bosses. The warlock with its glide just zooms off and continues to blast away at the Bosses. Can't wait to start getting the purple equipment, going to be a blast.

I too very much enjoy my SWs. I had leveled up a Damnation one when they first came out, and had the opportunity to level up a Fury one this past weekend; I am still undecided as to which I prefer.

Good luck on getting that epic gear!

Rather shocking how OP the SW is while leveling up. CW and GWF do tickle damage in comparison early on.

Fun launching something up into the air and watching my puppet and owl tickle them to death while they're laying there. Wish the CW had more enjoyable control spells like that.

Among the three feat trees, Fury is viable in both PvE and PvP, while Damnation is only really useful in PvP (the Soul Puppet will aggro mobs you don't want to fight right now) and Temptation is excellent in PvE and meh in PvP.

The SW is the most optimal min/max class to date, which makes it very easy and also good to play.

DPS and/or healing aside, it has very ideal stats, and very easy to gear due to its focus on favorable stats for content.

It's really hard to not like the SW (except for the campaign grinds to bring it up to speed).

I'm really loving the "dodge" mechanic of SW, it moves so fast and so far, I don't even need a horse in PE (still level 17, so can't ride yet). Makes the dodges on my HR and TR look bad (which they are, especially the HR one).

Agreed the shadow-slip is by far the most superior and best of all the "dodge" mechanics in the entire game. If any class is "OP" over any other class this would be the one mechanic that is it. Not only does it work flawlessly every single time, but barely uses any stamina.

No other class can compare except the the HR, but that's an encounter with a cool down. The shadow slip is probably is singular bestest anything on warlocks - especially when you can rank it up to use 10% LESS stamina than normal.

Love my SW too. I've made it my main after leveling up all other classes (except TR which is at 48). The SW is fun to play, has great encounters and at-wills. If I listen closely, I can hear my other toons gently weeping :)
    I aim to misbehave

I'm also loving this class they are beastly and once you get your AD set the damage is ridiculous.

I haven't done and epic dungeons with my SW yet, but he absolutely melts the bosses in the Sharandar and Dread Ring dungeons. I thought my GWF did ridiculous amounts of damage, but the SW is amazing. But he is squishy - however that makes it a little more enjoyable since without a challenge it would be kind of boring to play. I've got alts in every class and so far this one has been the most fun to play.

My only fear is that this will carry over to PVP, they'll start complaining, and then a nerf will be in order.
