I don't know if this idea is already proposed, but I think We need to spice our Foundry a bit.
What I propose is a foundry fee.
A fee of 2-5k AD per run half would go to the author of the foundry and other half dissolve to nothingness it would serve as a good permanent AD sink.
At the end chest of the foundry there's a small chance to get an epic item or any random rewards that reflects the difficulty of the Foundry.
With this we can give our foundry Authors a reward for their time and effort, and sink our overflowing ADs.
what do you think guys?
Comments
Charging them would probably destroy 90% of the foundry runners.
I think most of the serious foundry authors definitely don't care about earning extra AD at all.

It would also mean we have to grind and farm AD just to be able to keep playing foundries. As it is; I don't think I could keep playing foundries if they started charging for them; and the foundries are pretty much all that keeps me playing Neverwinter. I can't speak for others, but start charging for foundries and I leave the game altogether.
Also..
A couple of reasons the foundries may be perceived as needing revival:
Everyone is very busy grinding and regrinding things that are really necessary in order to stay afloat.
The foundries reward almost nothing beyond the dailies. (Apart from entertainment value, of course. But the reqs of the game damage that consideration.)
There are a lot of foundries that are .. not ready for prime-time. I don't want to see anyone discouraged, but I don't want to spend my time learning that something needs work, then being unable to help, or even inform properly. And to the extent that I can do either of those, usually get ignored or hit upside the ear with a hissy-fit. So I need a pretty strong recommendation to play one. I do the same ones for my dailies over and over, because I can make them take exactly as much time as I need them to take.
I seriously doubt PWE is ever going to allow free zen to be given out for any kind of achievement. AD, maybe though. Since the achievements include playing and reviewing different quests, it might encourage some people to stop replaying the same ones at least. From what I've read, though, not very many people seem to be motivated even by AD.
.
What the foundry needs is an ability to automate this process. Have a tab called PAID foundry runs. The Author pays say 1,000,000 AD to get on the premium PAID tab. The AD is then slowly paid out to the players who run the missions in 5k and 10k rewards. When the money in escrow is depleted the foundry disappears from the PAID tab and goes back to being a normal foundry and until the Author pays another 1,000,000 AD into escrow.

Or, only during the event, all end chest loot has the chance to drop a purple piece of gear from any of the tiers. But make it so it's only foundries that are Daily elibible will drop it.
