Champion's Battle Horn

Could you please change the following things of Champion's Battle Horn to make it combat feasible equipment:

- Please remove the speed bonus canceled if damaged. 3 Seconds is short time and this shouldn't be OP with 50% speed increase.
- Damage should reduce 3 seconds of recharge time per second when taking damage. This would reduce the recharge time to 2.5 minutes at best, which would be on par with epic artifact recovery times. Alternatively you could change the recharge time to start from 5 minutes.
- Please increase the temporary HP time to 30 seconds. 2k HP is really small amount, as it is less than 10% of the usual level 60 character hitpoints (usually close to 30k or above) and when healing potions heal for 8k HP instantly, this is really weak.


Currently it is really weak show. Compared even to the Pocket Pet or especially the Tymora's Lucky Coin, it is pretty useless. Even with chance to get 5% reducement to threat generation (bad for GWF and GF) or pretty useless buff to control, Pocket Pet is still much better choice for GWF or GW at the moment, but those three small changes would make the item worth have to (especially) GWF, GF, TR and probably others too.


Other opinions, even opposing ones appreciated.
Give us 4 or more power/item bar profiles so we can change powers and items with one click that are suited for the situation.

    Completely agree. The item is worse than useless for me, and I would guess most characters. (Worse than useless because it takes space that could be used by much more useful items, most of which are very cheap and even disposable.)

    The changes you talk about would make it really OP.

    They aren't gonna change anything with this, it's crappy and will always remain crappy. They will also take a long time to become rare because so few people will actually bind them.

    Tymora's coin and Pocket pet aren't unusable fro 10 minutes - why is this?

    Not of much use but better than nothing. Agree with speed bonus not cancelled. May be more temp hps.

    Just reduce the cooldown to like 3-5 minutes or something like that, indeed it's a very lame item.

    I noticed that I barely even use it at all. Sometimes I look at the belt slots and see the horn, click it because why not and forget about it again. It uses Daring Shout animation, and it stops you for quite a long time, it doesn't even help you to run away even if you're no being damaged.

    But they won't do anything about it, they make easily accessible items crappy for a reason.

    I use it to sprint faster if i need to get somewhere fast. Not much useful for defense. Better used off-combat. Cool icon and animation. A bit funny cause you take that mighty pose and sound the powerful horn, then... runnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

    Lol. Some power ups could work. Expecially speed bonus not cancelled by attacks.

    I really would feel betrayed if any changes were done now. I already had the coin and the pocket pet and based on this item bonuses decided to spend my event currency in something else. If they did change it after the event is gone with no chances of getting it I'd fell betrayed and cheated.

    ? so whats your loss then? If you have 30k AD buy one now to prevent this from happening.
    Also everybody could complain when they finnally make some T2 sets worthwile. "I would have chosen that set piece in the chest" Or if they finnally buff underpowered armor and eapon enchants - "Not fair - i used my coal on a vorpal".

    It is good in every way when useless items recieve buffs to make them viable. Period(ot).

    Crazy thing is, using it stops you mid-run, while the animation plays, during which time you'd have covered the distance that 3 sec speed boost gains you.

    Mine's just sittting in the bank, which is sad, because it could have been a nice item.

    I think that speed bonus isn't right, it's more like defense bonus or damage bonus.

    They gave this thing an animation but not the pocket pet? Why would you want an animation for an item that gives you bonus speed, but stops you dead in your tracks!?
