All my maps have vanished!? (Help please!)

I'm not a big foundry author, but the one quest I did make, I was really proud of.
I noticed that nobody had played the quest in the last 5 months (I've been away).
I figured there must be a bug in the quest, so I went to see what happened.

ALL of my maps for the foundry are just GONE!
The storyboard is there.
The dialogue trees are there.
Even the costumes, but my custom maps have poofed into thin air!
What happened?! Is there any way to get them back??

Well, since "pass" (and therefore "passage") is now a "profanity" filtered word, that could be part of the problem.

    I'd try...
    1. Change any quest objective/object/dialog that has "pass" in it anywhere.
    2. ...if that alone doesn't fix it -- what happens if you (after "pass" fixes) push "Finish Creation" ???

If that doesn't fix it -- then "Support Ticket" (WITHOUT "saving" any changes!).

That's the first time I've heard of it happening, I wish I could help you bu I have no idea what could be the problem.

There isn't a specific option for Foundry tickets. There's a ticket for lost items, player behavior, but the one for Quests just says that there's no help available, and that we should ask questions on the forums... So uh... yeah. Here I am.

This isn't my issue. I have no profanity flags in any of my quest texts. My maps are simply missing. If I try to press the FINISH CREATION button, it brings up the "Create a New Map" window.

    Really?
That's odd because the screenshot you provided shows 2 of the 3 issues being unplaced items:
    1. "Venture into the passage"
    2. "Seal off the passageway"
    3. "Defeat the Champion of K..."

...and if I had to guess, I'd bet that 3rd unplaced item also contains some odd profanity filtered word.

While this is true, the OP's question is why he is unable to edit or even look at his MAPS... The new-fangled profanity filtering would prevent publishing, which he isn't even trying to do yet. But it shouldn't prevent him from looking at or editing the MAPS.

It is his CUSTOM MAPS within his quest which appear to be missing...

Heroic2002: Have you tried forcing the client to verify all the files in the options menu in the server status/initial login screen? You might want to disable On-Demand patching and force verify, then try re-enabling On-Demand if it starts working again.

If your maps are still unavailable, you should contact cryptic support.

And my thought was that these unplaced objects failing the profanity filter *could* be causing a side-effect of making the map fail to load somehow. Especially since the foundry is so "stable" and all.

I should have examined your first post more closely and I may have picked up on what you were going for... Your suggestion may very well fix the OP's problem, sorry about that, Eldarth. The one potential problem is that the OP will have to change the names of the objectives and save it, then reload it. The OP should probably duplicate the entire quest first, and try modifying the duplicate map objectives to remove all mention of "pass" in the objectives.

Probably a good idea -- might also be able to get away with just duplicating the map after changing them.
Duplicating the whole quest before anything is probably good advice no matter what anyway.

I am running a fresh install of the game. Literally a new hard drive, Windows 7, and the first thing I installed was Neverwinter.
As for contacting Cryptic support; Where can I get specific help for foundry issues? The in-game help doesn't support it.

eldarth, I see what you mean about the word 'pass'. I didn't catch that. However, it wasn't flagging them as curse words.
(Whoever flagged the word pass needs to be drawn and quartered)

So I've taken both your tips and tried them. I duplicated the quest, and removed any reference to the word I could find.
The maps are still missing. :(

Open a Support Ticket -- under Technical Support there is a "General TS" sub-category.
That's about as close as you can get.

Yeah, their "error flagging" has issues.

After removing the references, did you try duplicating the map itself?
    i.e.
    1. Duplicate Quest
    2. Remove References
    3. Duplicate Map

I'm out of ideas after that.
