How about for one weekend, all Black Ice equipment that drops from an Icewind Dale zone can be auctioned in the AH?

Or what if they were sold by the Black Ice merchant, just for three days? Prices could be something along the line of 7000 black ice for the bracers, and 13000 for the main hand.

    But seriously:
    1. All Draconic gear is BoE, so why shouldn't BI gear be?
    2. On a map with 20 people on Remo, how likely is it that YOU will be the one getting the good drops?
    3. Many people have drops that aren't intended for their class
    4. People will finally be able to see what Elk Tribe gear looks like

    At the very least, as a blanket rule, if you cannot actually use an item, it should be unbound.

    that is a very bad idea and unfair against those people who farmed them...

    As a general rule, whenever I see a thread title with the words "New idea", I finish swallowing my drink for one of two reasons.
    1. I'm about to laugh, and I hate that burning feeling of having liquid come out my nose.
    2. Facepalming with a mouth full of sweet tea = wet shirt.

    Here's what I'd like to see: "Bonus personalized epic drop from dungeon boss weekend" - The final boss of any epic dungeon will always drop 1 BtA epic item just for you! Now that would be awesome!
