Optimal Stat distribution for PvP damage

Hello everyone,

Was kinda hoping for advice on what to do with my stats. I'm a semi-perma Rogue (aka: Kill the weaker ones, harass the stronger ones). My attacks are usually in stealth and they're PoTB, Cloud of Steel and Lashing as a final move, with Lashing always getting crit out of stealth. Stealth restoring is Shadow Strike.

My current stats are about 4700 power, 3400 crit (~50% crit rate), 2600 AP (~24.5 ignored, dont remember the number). I use Lesser Vorpal. I followed the advice most people gave me and that's getting AP to 24% ignored and crit rate to 50% then invest the rest on power. However it feels more of a PvE tip and I feel not too useful in terms of damage dealing in PvE so I wonder if there's a way to optimize these stats for PvP. I'm currently using Dark and Radiant enchantments, and one other enchantment that gives AP and Critical (forgot what it's called).

So what do you guys think? Should I increase/decrease one of the stats for another to get better PvP damage? Is it fine as it is right now?

Also, which would you say is more important: Getting the lantern artifact as a 3rd artifact, Getting a stone, or Getting a normal Vorpal enchantment?

Thanks!

The Ioun Stone of Allure would be an excellent companion, but just get it to level 25. Don't waste upgrading to level 30 because the very small stat increase is not really worth 750k AD, in my opinion. . . unless you really want to increase the "enemy slow" chance from 7% to 10%.

Once you get it, load it with good equipment, runes, enchants. It won't reflect in your GS, but it will definitely affect your damage capability. :)

You do realize Ioun Stone is visible in stealth combat?

Do not advocate Allure Ioun for pvp as the alure 8% slow doesn't work.

Now about the original message: Companions varies for builds.
    Stats varies depending on builds.

Deflect, Recovery, Regeneration, Tenacity, Health, are all very important stats - very build dependant. What you are saying now is a pure PVE tip as u said. So the first question should be - what is your exact feat build, stats, boons and what would you want to achieve and how much time you are willing to spend every day to perfect it. We can help but we need more details.

    Cheers

If you feel like soft-capping another stat, Recovery offers good returns. At roughly 1.75k Recovery, you get 15% Recharge Speed and AP Gain and this can be pretty significant in terms of DPS as you will be able to whip out your encounters 15% faster. The RSI you gain from INT hasn't been factored in as well so there is still room for improvement for your RSI.

If you're looking for an alternative enchantment in PVP, you may also wish to try out Plague Fire. Vorpal is nice, works very well especially for PVE. But its damage output is reduced in PVP because of Critical Hit Reduction from Tenacity and the 10% PVP Crit Blanket. Plague Fire on the other hand burns your opponent's damage resistance pretty well, and applies the damage increase to all strikes regardless if it's a crit or not.

But Vorpal will always be king for Lashing Blade builds.

Rather whirlwind of blades while lashing blade is too weak also with lashing blade on encounter you could die fast. I would say vorpal on all classes except TR, on them bilethorn is best to destroy stealth. If your saboteur with low critic then that gpf could be good.

dmg is not optimal for tr
u can play tr only good with a min maxing pvp builds
u cant balance the stats as u want and chose which encounters u like

tr without full pvp min max stats is not even a suport like gf.
its just a class which hides around pillar

u can all go mad but its the truth

    Hello,

My build was actually a PvE one originally, because I started my character over a year ago, when TR's were useful on dungeons. It's executioner with high STR & DEX.

Because it was a PvE char, I rolled with Swashbuckling captain, but now I'm with Profound scoundrel. Most of my feats were damage related, for example I remember for sure not maxing the stealth feat but adding points to the STR dmg and At Will dmg.

Since my gear score isn't too high (about 13k right now), I'm at low-grade PvP. Again, my tactic is path of the blade, stealth, cloud of steel, then either Shadow Strike and running away or Lashing Blade if I feel I can get the kill (SW's and CW's fall for it sometimes. GWF's & HR's usually require more than one cycle).
My build is glass cannon, but with the ability to harass. If I really want to avoid death it isn't too hard, because I got a lot of mobility.
Sometimes I also add Duelist flurry to the cycle, which gives additional damage.

So with that in mind, What should I adjust?;)

easyest is to respec feats to 5 points in stealth and 5 points in twilight adapt feat- dodge is restoring stealth ,stack some recovery to 2k atleast.
that can help u stay more in stealth and survive-deal more dmg
or u can buy respec token or even better race change token and go full pvp build
if u want more dmg forget abouth its not possible u can have better survival and sustained dmg

all being said dont expect huge improvements

With 5 points in stealth and high recovery this is basically perma-stealth, no? But I don't want that. I want to deal more damage.

Some1 here said that critical damage is reduced in PvP? In that case wouldn't it make sense to invest more in AP & Power and use plague fire instead of Vorpal?

well i want to be the captain of the big pirate shipit
    but it aint happening
pfire is good if u have 40k hp perma style
vorpal is better with high dex and low hp
arm pen better until 2,5k maybe bit less coz of diminishing returns
crit is enough to have 2k- ish

one thing u dont understand is u cant do nothing to improve your build significantly

so just live in a dream im out

You won't explain them. They are in such a stadium of being manipulated that they will still support class destroyers as in advocate thread. This class is obviously meant to die.
