What are all the ways to get an artifact a part from the first one we get for free?

What are all the ways to get an artifact a part from the first one we get for free?

    Free ones: PvP (buy with glory), PvP Campaign and Artifact quest (Vault of the nine) - if you have at least 2 toons in IWD.

    Paid ones: From lockboxes and Dragonborn pack (the former are BoE so you can also buy in AH).

    Edit: The ones from the initial quest also have a very small chance to drop from any Epic dungeon boss and some others from Kessel's, MC and VT. Check the wiki for detailed information.

    All you have to do is get 2 classes to IWD and you can unlock their class artifacts. So if you got like 4 classes at 60 you can complete the quest and redeem their artifacts at any lvl on any char.

    Remember though that unlike almost all the other artifacts you CANNOT use class artifacts to refine others. Consequently be very ,very sure that you are going to want to keep it before refining a class artifact above, say level 59.

    rlrobr, you say 2 tons in IWD, but I thought that IWD unlocks when we get 3 toons. If that's not the case I have 2 toons on one level 60 character so how do I get into IWD?

    IWD unlocks when a char has 3 BOONS in either Sharandar or Dread Ring, so you 2 chars need to each get 3 boons and 10k gs then they can pick up the quest in PE to enter IWD. But you can only unlock the class artifacts if you have 2 classes/chars in IWD.

    Maybe there are some easier ways to get artifacts, any useful tips ?

    Uhm....open your wallet, and but the Dragonborn pack....it includes one....or buy Zen, exchange it for AD and buy some artifact on the AH...or maybe open a pile of artifact-dropping lockboxes.

    (Well, you said you wanted an easy method).

    If you want it for free, the easiest are the class artifacts, the Crystal Skull PvP artifact and and maybe farming for Eye of Lathander - I have gotten that one multiple times.
    Hoping for improvements...
