Ask for a Nerf, result -> TR wil become a PVP GOD like the "nerfed" CW
It's already a top-tier class, even current CW's don't do **** to current GIMPED TR.
I can't even imagine the buffed (I hope) TR. I'm not exaggerating when I say people who mainly main a TR have more skills and know how to adapt more than others. Because we were constantly nerfed BUT we still adapted and are STILL tough. So hopefully when they buff us, we're going to be even more of a threat.

Not true atall, TRs are actually currently one of the weakest in PvP, and outright are the weakest in PvE.
In PvP:
CWs are the top dogs. they are whats winning games.
under CWs, GFs, GWFs and HRs are all strong contenders for the second place. the GF buffs make them very durable and scary damage with Anvil of Doom.
under that, we have Clerics and TRs, who both fill a supportive roll. TRs now just perma-stealth and try to tie up points while the rest of the team does all the hard work.
Warlocks, too early to say where they fit in to things....
We are no longer the top dogs of PvP, we got dethroned a long time ago and each new mod has knocked us down further in the tier list.
So, basically we are mediocre in PvP and trash in PvE.

You're probably a Combat rogue. Of course that's the weakest in PVP. Even a Cleric beats a combat Rogue 1v1 sometimes.
Regardless its still safe to buy as high rank radiants as you can afford for defense slots. Maximizing HP + regen capabilities is something acrossed all classes in PvP, even high damage/low defense based ones. Not to mention they are best for offense slots as well in a lot of cases where damage is needed from offense slots (PvE or PvP). Based on the changes they previously mentioned testing to alter stealth (while a bit outdated) all still leave stealth duration the same, and only alter visibility in some specific cases, leaving the standard semi-perma build pretty much just as effective as now (especially defensively) with slight play style changes. Yet, I wouldn't be concerned, because it is expected that TRs will see better damaging or buffing, ect. capabilities to make up for its severe lack of potential in pve.
Either way, if you don't buy higher ranked enchants now, you could risk the price of them rising if TR builds do stay the same and the changes make people flock back to TR. If you do buy them, you could risk builds changing and the value of it going down from everyone selling it. Either way, there will be time for those interested to gauge the possible changes on the preview server before they actually come out and affect the market.
My opinion is just keep a set amount of AD for investing that will continually make you enough AD to be comfortable with your level of progression, and if you aren't there, spend a lot of time saving up/learning how till you do, because this game changes fast. Without a constant source of incoming AD you will always get stuck behind.
As far as the rest goes, just pay attention to updates and act early. Don't become paranoid about it though. The game will always change, best items/builds will always change. Don't concern yourself about it until things actually start happening (aka: preview server, but even then it could be a month or so away with more changes still to come on preview, just watch the market when things start happening on preview, but don't feel like you have to gimp yourself to prepare so early). You should have enough money for investing, so enjoy the game the best you can by getting that best build/setup for now. It will still be a long time till next mod, and there is no point in being sub-par for months just to save a little AD in the end, that's what your investing cash there to cover.
Just some thoughts. But yeah, if you are running out of cash affording things like rank 7s, you either need to farm like hell with those enchants to start getting some investing AD, or you need to cut back on enchant ranks to like 5 and just learn how to invest the AD by working the market to build up investing AD. Even if changes weren't coming to the class this would be the reality. You will never get comfortable in game if you didn't spend the time building up an AD source and always getting income from it.

You're reference is way off. You're talking about the PvE rogue. Max STR, max DEX, practically no life. Those types.
Combat TR is in a good place in PvP.
