Hi all,

Finally about to hit 60.... i have a total of 4k zen and 3 million ad to spend on gear. Im playing a Trickster Rogue.

I want to spend my "wealth" as good as possible. I want some gear so i can starrt the lower requirement dungeons etc but i also want to be able to grind for pvp.

So any advice on how to spend the "wealth" i have saved up and what to go for in gear.

Or should i keep saving up so i can get some good pieces later... Right now im grinding the Tyranny of Dragons quests etc.

/Smash

Well, you can't go wrong with an Augment Companion. The Ioun Stone of Allure (I think it's Allure) is available on the Zen Store for 1K Zen.
Other than that, are you looking to PvP or PvE or a mix of the two?
Are you invested in this toon for the long haul, or do you have Altoholic Tendencies Disorder?

You know, I've been trying to think of a decent strategy outside of the standard Purple Mount and Augment Companion one and I just can't. The Game's economy is just so screwed up right now I cannot in good conscience recommend that anyone make any major AD purchases right now. The prices are just too ridiculous and hyper inflation is running rampant. Until that gets itself fixed (or you give up hope that it ever will) I would mostly focus on buying a cheap, but still usable, set and using that to grind out a better one (say, your Black Ice or Grimm PvP Gear, maybe the Dragon stuff). The Dread Ring weapons from the Zone Store and the Daily Single Player Lairs (the Thayan Zealot Daggers) are pretty nice, as are the Cloak and Rings and you can get that stuff with out spending AD (except the off-hand).
Wish I had better recommendations for ya', but the crazy prices on Armor and Weapon Enchants and the B.I.S. Armour and Weapon Sets on the A.H. are game-breakers for me and I can't imagine that you would want to just flush your entire supply to get a single Greater Terror or Plague Fire or Soulforged. Because each of those costs OVER three million A.D.

Oddly prices of Perfect Terror and Vorpal are below the price to make them. Unless you have a zillion alts to get coal wards on a regualar basis .....

first i would advise you not to publish u have that much of ad and zen on forum many ppl had bad experiences with their accounts hacked and all their ad and zen stolen.

now what to buy: stone and thats it! u can get all your gear and make all you weapon and armor enchantment by yourself! including rank 7-9 runes.
thats the fun of it gearing up slowly and having fun playing the game.whats fun in having it all in one night? and then leaving the game cause its not challenging any more?
    have fun.

    Battlefield Skulker Set: +25% stealth
Can buy fairly cheap on trade house or use Guantlegrim coins.

    Looks good to me.
It looks to be slightly better than the Shadewalkers set that I'm using for the same purpose and that has taken me through Sharandar and The Dread Ring without any difficulties (I get the last boon for each tomorow). I doubt that it will have much trouble handling anything Icewind Dale can throw at me either. Just to be clear, though, this particular character is absolutely NOT used for PvP so I cannot tell you if it would be right for that. From my experiences with my GF and GWF in PvP, however, it does look like it would have very useful stats.

Swash is the best offensive T2 set for PvE, as it adds a lot of power and recovery. Unfortunately TR's are no longer considered high DPS chars other than at bosses, and even then the SW does better with equal gear.

Get a mount, a stone, and a weapon or armor enchantment. Try to farm one of the Grim PvP sets. At least you'll get a set that does fine on both PvE and PvP.
