Did something happened to the SPECIAL Alchemical Extravaganza Tasks?

So I went to make a Grandmaster alchemist and the SPECIAL! tasks are gone...
Did the event ended a day earlier?
I am at work so I can't check if the NPC is in-game, and I don't see anything here in the forums confirming whether or not it's over.

    The task has the deadline at 9 am (depending on your timezone) today.

    Could anyone confirm if the NPC is still available in the game?

    NPC? What you mean with that? The profession merchant isn't gone. Neither does the companion.
    He only doesn't offer the purified lead anymore.

    Press 'k' switch to calendar --> there you see all the events(when they start and when they end).

    It doesn't say the hour it starts/end, but you can imagine every event start 7h after daily quest reset time and end on the same hour.

    Oh, so the event is over?
    Darn, I guess for nwo 8/22 - 8/29 doesn't mean the 29th is included...

    It is included. But it's a timething.

    For me it start at 7 pm at 8/22 and end on 7 pm 8/29.
    So it was for me since 4h over.

    By NPC I actually meant the Alchemy Tab in the Profession Merchant NPC.
    Sorry, got a bit disappointed when I realized the event might be over and all my work making Aqua Regia just went down the drain.

    Well, guess I'll just have to open a potion joint now.

    You are disappointed? I made 1.3k of them and got 13 shots in my knee(okay 7 was alchemical upgrade professions). Let hope, that this event will come in future again! (This happened to other events too)

    They should have been specific. Especially with the 6-8 hour outage included. It looks like community people in the company are undermotivated. But they do good job at spreading the negative motivation.

    Of course I am disappointed with the fact that I thought I would get home from work, and trade my 300 Aqua Regia and 2 Grandmaster Alchemists for Satchels.

    It has absolutely nothing to do with the event.

    Out of that: The event was 0! announced. I only get the shot because I read the thread that one have achieved the companion at 8/22. I ask me What??? Is this event running again? Yes it was! No announcement, but running... sad, that it was a bit to early for me to get one for sure. =/

    They didn't accounce it until around Wednesday on the launcher (not on Arc only in the separate launcher. At least that's how it looked like. )

    About the motivation stuff:
    - no announcments
    - not specified ending time for the 'event'
    - 6-8 hour downtime for Neverwinter Online during the last 24 hours of the 'event'

    My conclusion is that the organizers (PW employees doing the communications with the players) are not motivated. This in turn shows in the quality and handling of the situation. Thus resulting in me playing less.

    This event was released a month back, before mod4 even went out. It was quickly brought down because of a glitch that made some people make unlimited alchemists. I remember a thread where akro specificaly said THE EVENT WILL RETURN, KEEP YOUR LEADS. Also, the event was in the calendar before it began. That's why 24 hours before the event officialy started someone bought out all the alchemists on AH.
