I equipped my Xvim amulet on a new character i made and BAM SOULBOUND! Hh its supposed to be account bound. So i want a new one thanks. I already contacted customer support and got some rubbish responce.

No, the entire point of that item is that it's bound to account on being equipped. Bug. A lot of things are randomly getting bound lately, some of it is getting fixed this Thursday, alledgedly.

I can confirm that it should be bound to account. I have amulet and belt. The belt I had already equipped (some weeks ago) and it is bound to account (amulet was never equipped). For both the (german) tooltip states they are bound to account on being equipped.

Thank you - now I do recall that description (I have a set - sitting in my bank and haven't equipped them yet). So the real question is whether this will be a change or become a bonafide bug (the binding to character bit). However, the upcoming patch notes does state that you will now only be able to equip the ring once (or it said "equip one ring" - I'm too lazy to go look again - but basically only one ring on a character).
So I think the question is what will happen to any "second equipped" rings... if they will stay equipped or be bounced back into inventory. I expect new forum threads on this subject come Thursday noon.

Slayer Ring of Xvim can now only be equipped one at a time.
I hope they don't change that....otherwise the xvim will be pointless. It's great having a set you can use to help a low char, then send it to the next low char.
It's only character bound when worn. Once you take if off it reverts to account bound and you can remove and self-mail/ account bank share and another character can still equip it, when you re-equip it'll have that 'Are you sure you want to bind' dialogue box again.
I've passed my Xvim set between characters a few times now to test, never has it stayed character bound. Has been working correctly in my experience.

I'm guessing it's a bugette. There have been quite a few little bugs with things being bound when they shouldn't, and they sometimes get fixed. The change that stops you being to equip more than one seems entirely fair, OTOH. Items having "unique equip" status is a familiar MMO trope.
