Bi arms and main hand acquisition (suggestions)

Players from all classes have been trying to get their BI arms and main hand for months. The grind is not only long, but also frustrating; and many still have not seen one single piece of epic equipment. Below, I am proposing alternate methods of acquiring these two items.
Sell these items through the BI vendor:
These two items would go at a higher price, with different currencies added in. For example, the BI arms could sell for:
8,000 Black Ice
10,000 Ad
5 Dwarf Gold
5 Tears
The main hand would be double the price.
Make these items an achievement:
Once a player completes 40 epic encounters in Icewind Pass, the arms piece is rewarded. Likewise, the main hand is rewarded, once the player completes 40 epic encounters in Dwarven Valley. It would be like the current PvP Campaign, where rewards are awarded once goals are achieved.
Make an event:
Make a three day event. All epic equipment acquired from an HE will be Bind-on-Equip. That way, it can be traded between players or sold on the AH.
Two epic HEs every ONE hour
This is indirectly help players get their equipment quicker and easier.

What I need is a chance to get my gloves and main hand. And to make matters worse, the epic heroics are few and far between anymore.
I am frankly sick of doing Mother Lode which drops nothing. Its just a major time sink.

If something like this is implemented, can you imagine the massive complaining that will come from those who were able to get their items through countless grinding?

They should not complain because we, who still dont have the gloves/main hand, have actrually grinded way more and for longer then those who already have it. If its all about the grind/time sink then by all means I should have at least two of each for both my toons.
