Reinforced High Vizier's Gloves professions task

Been searching the web and can't find a straight forward answer.

I would like to reinforce my High Vizier's Gloves to obtain the Reinforced High Vizier's Gloves but I just can't come across the professions task. I've got tailoring maxed out to lvl 20 but the task does't show up so I suspected it to be a rare professions task. Been stalking the my rare professions for days now and no joy.

Just need a make sure if it's a rare task or not or is this another bug.

    That task has been removed now that we have armor kits. One of the devs confirmed it.

    Kind of unfair for some to keep their existing ones and new players unable to reinforce theirs. Don't see why not keep both. Oh well my cw has hers reinforced at least.

    What happens if you use an armor kit on a reinforced glove? will the bonuses stack? If they do stack, how can players that don't have reinforced gloves yet acquire gloves that are equally strong?

    That was the lazy way of devs. Instead of creating more reinforced ones(some sets doesn't even need it due same/better stats as reinforced ones) they just removed the task for them...

    You do realize that reinforced gloves get about 25 extra stat points, right? That's a drop in the bucket compared to all the boons, artifacts, reinforcement kits, artifact equipment... that we have been getting in the last few mods.

    Even min/maxers can survive the loss of 25 stat points.

    You do realize that reinforced gloves get about 25 extra stat points, right? That's a drop in the bucket compared to all the boons, artifacts, reinforcement kits, artifact equipment... that we have been getting in the last few mods.

    Even min/maxers can survive the loss of 25 stat points.

    It's still a boost in stats that others can't get. People pay over 1m AD difference for the 40 stat difference between rank 9 and rank 10.

    Let me guess you are one of lucky ones that have the reinforced gear. Even if it was 5 points still not fair some get it others don't! Lets say some more things like this happen, how many points will I be losing if I don't do the upgrades before they are removed.

    This seems a real shame, but won't this be a moot point as it only matters for top end gear and the new module dungeon's should drop superior gear, which is un-reinforcable now the profession has been changed?

    Most of the gear since mod 1 has been largely undesirable. Though I guess you generally wouldn't want to use the old reinforcable arms in pvp where it makes the most difference anyway.

    The set bonuses for the mod 4 stuff are bad once again. Most of your stats are at diminishing returns just on regular t2 at this point, so boosting those stats higher with the new gear doesn't do much, not having a good 4 pc bonus however means a lot.
