Kessel Sigils

Can someone tell me why people are keeping these for artifact gear? I have several hundred, probably a couple thousand between multiple characters and about to just trade them in for Konig Coins for finishing up unlocks in IWD on other toons but I keep reading how people use them for their artifact belts?

Is it for the 40:1 trade in for some random gear piece? If so what's it giving that is so interesting? Most bounties are just green trash and I assume that you are wanting belts specifically and I can't imagine that belts drop that often from the kessel bag.

    U can use the gear as RP for artifact belts

    Indeed, we can exchange sigils for a bag that will drop 1 piece of blue/green gear but the thing is that you need around 4000 or 4500 pieces of the same type (belt or weapon RP x2) in order to upgrade it to legendary. It will save just a bit of time if ppl keep saving these sigils and it would be only enough up to epic level. Guys you can also use white pearls, peridots, brilliant diamonds, etc expensive? yes a lot! but it's a good investment.

    It is 5/1 unless they changed it with the last patch , you get a guaranteed blue or basic epic piece of gear.
