Question - Will 3 Tyranny of the Dragon boons allow access to Icewind Dale?

So at the moment we need either three Sharandar boons or three Dread ring boons as a prerequisite to get into Icewind Dale , will the same apply for the Tyranny of the Dragon boons?

Hopefully it does because then it will slightly speed up access to IWD for new characters since the new campaign seems to begin at lvl 30 whereas you have to be lvl 60 to even start the other two campaigns.

    That wouldn't be a good idea as the mobs in IWD and dwarf valley are > level 60 .
    If someone is able to get to 3rd boon in ToD ( and maybe be level 50 -60 ) , they will seriously struggle with IWD if they attempt to enter it .
    Then there would be the usual calls from these people to nerf the mobs .

    I thought that the mobs had the skull like mobs in CtA's

    The requeriments are to IWD are, IIRC, level 60, 10k GS and three boons of either DR or Sharandar. ToD could use the same req. to access IWD. The module would be far more enjoyable that way and prevent anyone not geared enough to struggle in IWD.

    Hmmm, is this some bug, or im missing something? I have all requirements for the first boon, but yet nothing happens when im click on it:confused:

    known bug try exit camping window and click again this helps me whn this happen

    How about you start the campaign and THEN worry about getting boons?

    This would not make sense. Keep in mind that you need to have unlocked IWD to be able to complete the ToD campaign. You can do the first steps, but unlocking the skirmish and dungeon requires you to do the "Portal to Tuern" quest, and that is located in IWD.
    Hoping for improvements...

    But you don't need the Portal to Tuern quest to unlock three boons of ToD.

    Unlock three boons -> unlock IWD -> Portal to Tuern -> yay!

    Afaik you don't need any of the skirmish/dungeons to complete all of the boons.
