Which DirectX version do you use?

I'm wondering which DirectX version most people use and which is probably the most stable? Direct3D 11, Direct3D 9ex, or Direct3D 9? I've been playing with DX11 and in certain areas i get weird anomalies(example: square box textures on the ground in dungeons, happened to me a few times in early quests dungeons like Dead Rats.) So what do you guys recommend? Also is it more stable to play in Fullscreen or Window Maximized?

Yep same as magenubbie , either DX9 EX or just DX9 , DX11 and it's super glitchy city , I don't understand what the developers are doing , module 2 the graphics looked gorgeous and the game ran fairly well , module 3 they messed about with all the graphic and again in module 4 and now it is a complete mess.

I use 11 and with module 4 there are several new issues sadly but it still looks better then 9 by a large margin IMO (I'm playing on maxed settings as well)

I switched to DX9 Fullscreen and the game is running so much better and i can barely tell little to no difference in quality. I mean if a gorgeous game like Witcher 2 can be pulled off with DX9 i don't see the quality changing much on Neverwinter lol

Be careful on changing DX. Changed mine earlier today to DX9 EX and the game no longer loads. Tech Support is down so no way to get ahold of them for a work around either I also have not found a way to change it back out of game.

DX11, fullscreen (but seemingly forever having to argue with the client about it), no real issues running basically maxed out with a 2 gig 760 gtx

Running DX11 with a GTX 670 card. No issues at all, play in windowed fullscreen myself.

I have a gtx 670 running on max settings. New problems white boxes at random spots PE more than others. menu pop ups like inventory or quest screens take time to completely load. Old problems, since beta, fires and lights are to bright like looking into headlights at night all detail it lost. Havent tried to revert game to 9 ex yet

dx 11 with gtx 690, max settings except for phys debris particles set to 0 because that is coded very poorly. never have any graphical issues besides that.

Yeah this happens when you get into the zone before all the textures and GFX are done streaming. I don't know what they're doing but I suspect they reduced streamer speeds across-the-board to save money...

I have an GTX 770 and get really often Direct X Errors (unable to render an object) and Cryptic Errors at the same time. Most of the time in the new Areas. I can even replicate the errors. Example: In Neverdeath it always happens if a lightning struck. I tested some graphic settings and it seems some issues with the lighting and reflection.

Now i must play with the lowest settings not to get such error messages......

Direct3D 9ex is the only thing working for me and without AA (game hangs), eitherwise game crashes after 1 minute with dx error.
