Just play the char how you want and figure it out as you go along it will probably be a few weeks till people start pumping the guides out, for now just have fun playing the char and worry about what spells are op later. Plus you never know what is the best damage skill now may not be in a few months considering how they nerf chars.
This isn't really the place for SW builds anyway. This is for CW's, not SW's. Once Mod 4 goes live I'm sure the forum mods will get around to creating a separate sub-forum for SW's.

Umm no. necromancers are palemasters. Warlocks have very little to do with necromancy, they deal with devils. I'd say to name the SW forum the lower depths if that wasn't already taken.
It took making and deleting and making wizards like mayb 7 times before I figured out how I wanted mine to be.
I can see three scourge warlocks to try the three trees, and then after I sort things out a forth to play and then once someone figures out how to break the thing and make it super op a fifth.
Eventually I will know the class, and decide if I want monkey walking chimp jumping type of character. The aesthetics are as important as the skills, and if casting feels clunky then I just will stick with CW.
I have hope that the healing build will let me make a very tanky pvp warlock. Depending on damage vs survivability output.
Gear for the next few months is going to be limited for lower levels I suspect so I'll probably CW a lot and SW loaf and just play around.
Or I'll so a lot of leveling on my Cleric, Being a healer is always something I enjoy, even though it can be difficult and you can easy get a lot of complaints when you can't keep up someone who "doesn't know to not stand in the fire, etc"
I really wish I had a bit more clutch heals and Hot's . mitigation healing always feels forced to me, even though I'm getting used to it.
From what I gather, a lot of people are looking at maxing out constitution and charisma (great for tieflings) and getting a lot of crit and lifesteal. The temptation tree looks fun, to me, with all the shared lifesteal and back-up party healing capabilities.

get con and cha as high as possible, con + as a human. Human for the extra feats for t4. Fury tree for the most dps. Specifics will be later.

What do you guys think about CON vs CHA? I started a tiefling and rolled a 20 CHA since it is their primary stat. But it seems like CON should be the primary since it has +damage.

If you have questions on the SW, or need some ides, check out this Warlock guide (on the first page of this forum):
Knowing feats and skills is only the tip of the build you need to get the gear enchants and weapons Any way SW feats are self explanatory

I must say, i have all classes, except perma, that's a moral issue for me and i deeply regret the 2 weeks i had one, not for the type of ppl, like me.
My Warlock has reached the level cap yesterday, during the double XP weekend.
Warlock is very tempting at the beginning, still very good animations after hitting level cap, BUT:
- if someone says CW is squishy, well Warlock is like paper, you can see through, so fine. Even with nearly 30% DR, she is thrown away like a soccer ball in Ghost Stories.
- CC immunity and handling is zero, once you got in the fangs of the Dragonborn HRs, you are dead
- same problems, like the poor GF had, the aggro aka. curse falls down on every hit or on decent damage
- very odd, i had the opportunity to run right after hitting level cap 2 Idris dungeons, my Warlock was only in blue and a few rank 5 enchants and no problem, didn't had a slight problem, where as today doing my first Ghost Stories with her and much better gear, she failed. Looks like either the Warlock is good only for Dungeons and weak in some solo or she must be a very rich girl lol, i may have to spend a ton on her, just to make her kick, but currently i ask myself, is it worth?
I could swear, that the Warlock is built half way on the poor DC's code, same odd things and same problems, although my DC was way better as a rookie.
Is the Warlock a money or AD sink? Do i need to spend a ton of AD on her to make her function or is my thought maybe right, that it would still have needed some development time and it was pushed out too early and a huge bit unfinished?!
For me she doesn't shine right now. Normally a class becomes better after hitting level 40 or so, but for the Warlock i feel, she was better at start and got worst at the level cap.
Ok, 1v1 she is nice, but only nice, since my squishy CW can kill them poor Warlocks with ease in PVP. I like to do my dailies alone and especially Ghost Stories can be tricky and i don't see her currently be able to do that, without begging for help...
Currently i feel, that all the nice things, rings, necklaces, belts, etc. i have bought for her and a Polymorph to Tiefling from Human, just to be able to add more to CON was a waste of ZEN:(
P.S: This is not just my opinion, my entire guild was and is using the 2xXP weekend and feels kinda same, so we can't be all wrong...

Wow, this is the opposite of my experience. Not only is my SW usually one of the last players standing when pulls go bad, but I remember doing Ghost Stories as a fresh 60 in blues, and breezing through it first time. You must have something very wrong somewhere if that's your experience.. HP? Lifesteal? Target selection? Rotation?
I'm not sure where to suggest you start, but on the big packs try this.. Stand well back, rebuke the White Dragonclaw(?), curse him, drop Warlock's Bargain on him, and immediately hit Dreadtheft. Then back-pedal, using him as a fulcrum to sweep your Dreadtheft beam through the other mobs in the pack. This should, if you're doing it correctly, wreck the pack horribly. DoT up any survivors, and then clean up, picking off particularly troublesome targets like the archer mobs first.
I have noticed that people who get hit by the red a lot in Ghost Stories have a hard time- any class. So far, my Warlock has been the easiest class to clear it with- easier than either my nicely-geared GWF or CW. Hopefully, you manage to find your mojo and get the hang of it, so it is less annoying for you too.

There is not much to say without knowing what build you went for and what you decked yourself with. Personal experience? I played a CW and went to SW. It does not have the CC so it is much squishier, but the damage is pretty good and I kill things before they kill me.
I went for a Temptation lock and have no complaints. Doing stuff like the Sharandar daily I have started just mounting up and running to the first cauldron, then kill all the mobs at once. Then mount up and round the three witches plus all the other mobs and kill everything at once too. Then repeat with the last boss.
This usually ends with me at 90% HP or even 100%. Not something my CW would have managed.

I'd like to see some ideas for best feats/powers for dps myself.
