I play Neverwinter at 2880 x 1800 resolution. Because of this, many of the elements in the game are unreadable at the native UI interface scale of 1.0.
Increasing it in the Interface Scale in options, however, causes many random issues, some of which make the game unplayable.
A few specific examples:
- In the Wondrous Bazaar, only one row of items appears and it is not possible to buy blue or purple refining items as the game creates a "row" for all items that don't fit in the window that runs across the horizontal axis beyond the dialog window's area. Purchasing Greater <anything> cannot be accomplished for upgrading.
- The Dread Ring campaign window places the final boon outside of the window, and while it can be selected, it cannot be read.
- Selling multiple items to merchants will eventually result in the same issue as in bullet one, making the ability to "repurchase" latter-sold items impossible
- This behavior also occurs with the Claims Agent in PE.
This behavior occurs in both production (Dragon) and test (Mimic) when the resolution is set above 130%.
Reducing the resolution so that the screen is readable fixes this problem if the Interface Scale is reverted to 100%.
As a final note: as of the time of this posting, switching out of the game and returning to it causes the game to appear condensed in the middle of the screen with the cursor misaligned with where the actual pointer is located, making it a "guessing game" of moving the cursor around on the screen to select things several inches away. This is only manifesting on Mimic, but settings are identical in all ways. (Full Screen, same resolution, same graphic and interface displays). I would hope this does not get pushed to production.

I dread to think what it will be like when I go 4k, if I'm still playing NW then.
