Suggestion: Doohickey's visuals and tooltip

Just noticed that under adventuring equipment mode, we see Doohickey hovers around us. That's interesting. However, when you switch back to fashion costume mode, it disappears from view. Is it possible to make it visible even under fashion costume mode? (btw, if CW's orb could be visible under fashion mode, too, it would be great.)

And its icon in the item slot looks too dark as if it is in a "cannot be used" state.

When activating Doohickey, currently players are performing a "throw" animation. I thought the animation would be something cooler. We already have some companions who do the same animation, and we also do the same animation while we are doing some quests objectives. So can its activating animation be something different and cooler?

And when and after throwing it out, the hovering animation is still around us. That looks as if we have another clone of it. It could be made so that when we are throwing it, the hovering animation disappears, and after the 30 seconds cooldown ends, the hovering animation re-appears. That would also be a good reminder for us that we can use it again.

Besides, can its tooltip tell us its exact range? It looks like 50 or 60 feet.

In PvE, it doesn't really affect epic dungeon runs as mobs have tons of hp. But it can speed up doing campaign dailies a bit.

In PvP, I play CW and haven't noticed much difference because its range is not long enough to me and has 30 seconds cooldown. But if you keep glancing at its icon for the cooldown after using it, it can become a distraction. That's just what I personally have observed though. Not sure how other players feel about it.

Btw, it can be dodged and deflected, and can currently crit.

For my Protector GF it's like a 4rd encounter with 30 seconds CD, cause my encounters usually hit by 2K-5K, so it's something worthy to use in PvP in some situations... but that's in my case (my Doohickey usually hit by 1K-3K in PvP).

For PvE isn't good cause from what I saw, I think it's capped at 3-4 targets, so it's only something that I use when all my Powers are in CD and I have nothing better to do.

Anyway, the damage scale with Power and Buff/Debuff and also Crits, so you can get """decent""" hits from it, my record is 8K (but the common case is 2K-4K in PvE).

Shame it's hidden in casual clothing. Be cool too see it on your TR wearing the blacksmith set, like some sort of special ops.

    Decent but not game changer!

Probably not worth it for a GWF/TR because their at-wills might do greater dmg.
