ToD boons - feedback....

vibo21vibo21 Member Posts: 27 Arc User
Dear Devs,

so next module and next boons - all five powerful as hell...

My question is: why instead of making more big dungeons like CN u are wasting YOUR time to create boring boons-maps and wasting OUR time by forcing us to make these boring quests there ? We are forced to do them, because if we don;t do them - we are worse than other players in pvp, which do them.....so....why are u forcing us to do them ?

I hope that any dev has read that...

remember this campaign becomes open to toons at lvl 30 this then allows for those who are not lvling in one day to get into iwd once 60 with ToD boons.

This module is probably going to be better then IWD so calm down, you can start at lvl 30 and have fun doing it to because it's not the same, do 20 quests in this area to get to the next area. (but it might be really similar haha)

I agree they need to call it off on the boons. It's good that new players can do them early on though. Generally people hate the campaign systems. Sharandar being the worst that should be readjusted so that costs are at least lowered. The only good campaign system is the pvp one because you have goals and clearly rewarding targets to reach that are done by stuff you generally want to do. When you pvp it's different all the time. When you do dailies, it's unrewarding and repetitive when you have to repeat them over and over. At least in pvp you get glory that can buy any amount of things. It's generally always useful. Gonna see how it goes properly in mod 4, didn't want to be as burnt out when it went live so only done it a little. I hope they cool it for mod 5 though. It's getting stale and I'd rather they worked on other things.

Actually they look pretty nice. Especially the one Dragon's Grip. Only how should I understand 10% increased control strength? I'll be controlling targets better? Resist their control better? Or both? ;)

It would be interesting what 'Dragon's Revival - Grants 10% Increased Incoming Healing.' mean? I assume to be only healing from Companion/Allies and not from things like LS/Regen/Pots.

    Verified through testing:

+Healing from Power DOESN'T increase Regenticks.

Hm, this thread shows that some boons should have more detailed descriptions. Not many would prefer: first take - then understand what it does ; ) .

+healing from power and incoming healing bonus are not the same thing

incoming healing bonus effects every single heal in game otherwise it would be a useless stat

Well......first and last tiers are just...wow...

Not sure what would I pick for my temtpation warlock. Lifesteal is good but does it increase stats or just flat bonus to lifesteal?

they do campaign maps because they are cost effective theres maybe 2 or 3 maps they have to build with hardly any terrain changes this can be done by one skilled level designer where dungeons are complex need to be tested again and again and reworked over and over sure the campaigns do too to a degree but not in as much depth

I'm sure people would much rather have content they actually enjoy. At least these boons look good though, but I think dailies are getting a little tiring. Of course I would say that after doing them all for 7 toons already :)

It;s good change that u can do them since 30 lvl, but still...what with 60 lvl toons ? I need to spend a lot of time doing these boring quest...but..it seems that some ppl like these boons-campaings, so...maybe I'm wrong...maybe it;s ok...
