Malabog Castle Graphics Lighting/Shadow issues. (With Quick Fix)

The lighting and Shadows are bugged in Malabog Castle!! (Super bad) Just look at this guy cry:

http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?541511-Warning-malabog-castle-in-mod-2-can-damage-your-video-card

I have an AMD fx-8350, 7950 radeon card. Windows 7. 8 gigs. Other people with nvidia cards were complaining of the same issue. (think they said 9600 dunno)

Turning lighting "LOW" and shadows "OFF" is the only way to fix this bug.

Running a card at 100% is a serious issue, any unknown player attempting to deal with the lag for the entire 3/3 dungeon will overheat their card regardless of make or model. IE: Malabog Castle is my favorite dungeon, I REALLY HATE POSTING ON FORUMS, please read this one and fix asap.

Possible reasons for the bug:

1.) The lighting and shadows appear to be "double spawned" or triple or more. It appears you have the same shadows but 10 or more times, same with lighting.

2.) if thats not it theres just obviously some change u guys did to lighting/shadows that's terrible.

To the designers: I don't know what type of pc you have at your work area but there is no way its nicer than 8 cores, and 7950 is pretty up there as well. This one really shouldn't have slipped past the drawing board, but I appreciate the high quality work on the new mod.

This is a very serious issue. IT MAY RESULT IN LAWSUITS. Major video card makers protect their cards from 100% load by preventing known stress test or burn in programs from fully utilizing the cards. If a person has fan controller software hardcapping the fan the video card may be kept at dangerously high temperature while in MC. Fix it or expect a lot of trouble and possibly legal and financial repercussions.

What that guy said. I feel the same, but smart enough to change my graphics before something bad happens. But what if my girlfriend joined the dungeon would she know what to do? Probably not. It took me about 5-7 mins to localize the settings.

this is a major issue, i have dual 7870 2gb cards and, the game is unplayable with shadows enabled, lighing dosnt seem to help my fps, but shadows......

    7870 2gb dual-x(Sapphire) x2
    amd fx-8350@4.6
    32gb ddr3 1866
    4x300gb vraptor 10k rpm hdd's in raid(games drive)

Seriously, this thread was started 3 months ago and nothing happened? Yea, I am experiencing the same issues as OP.
I do own a pretty high-end system, AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series, Intel I-7 3960x, SSD, Windows 7 64 bit, very fast machine and everything in this game runs fluid. Oh yea, 100-150 mbit Internet Connection. But with Malabog? I've done it 4 times and each time it seemed it was getting worse. Absolutely unplayable. I might try to lower the specs like suggested by OP but I do not see a reason to do so...the ball is in your half, Devs. Please, fix this. Maybe you need more time? 3 months not enough, why the hell are you being ignorant and not even replying to the OP? Lack of customer orientation, maybe? Oh yea, F2P. Facepalm.

I can't believe Cryptic is so bad that they can't even fix a dang lag bug in Malabog's Castle, I think we are owed an explaining why they have not fixed the graphics lag issues to first boss in Malabog's Castle after * MOnths!!!!!!!! Come on Cryptic fix the dang thing, I should not have to lower my graphics settings on a AMD Radeon 6570 with 2 GB to lowest settings just to run MC? We deserve a good explanation!!!!!!

the entire MC zone is like this for me. It's the ONLY one that I have to turn down my graphics on. Granted, my GTS 450 SLI configuration is older however, I don't have any issues running them at max in any other area of Neverwinter.
    I aim to misbehave
