A Chill Wind quest doesnt exist

My alt character cant get the quest from SGT Knox.
I fulfill all the requirements for the Icewind (LV60 ,13800 GS,3 boons) , i've got the message ''Your character is strong enough ....'' but still Sgt Knox doesnt have the quest.
Any thoughts?

    I have the same issue.

    The only thing I can think of, is the fact that I leveled my char during 2xEXP event, and didn't get to finish all the zones... (because I didn't need/want to)... :/

    I have 2 other chars with Icewind Dale unlocked, and the class artifacts but I can't seem to get the quest on my CW.
    Also, I got the quest "Friends in High Places" a while ago, and went to get both HR and TR artifacts... maybe that messed up the questline or something... :/

    Have you tried going to the guy on the other side of the market next to the wagons who is near the gate that has a IWD entry quest ?

    I assumed you would need Sgt. Knox to give you the quest, so you could talk to it. I think it's Triggered by Sgt. Knox part of the quest. :/
    Not sure, tho, gonna try.


    EDIT: It DOES work. If you don't have the quest, just go talk to the dude near the entrance of PE. :)

    Thats it.Worked!
    Somehow Knox didnt gave me the quest but the other guy did.Strange.

    They should change the Icewind dale campaign page to tell you to talk to captain dunmar whatever his name is instead of sgt. knox or as well.

    another solution: Tell Sgt. Knox not to give ppl the chill wind quest until they qualify. I was able to do chill wind from sgt. knox and talk to the captain with a 9k rogue who had only 1 boon.

    Still cant go to icewind dale with that character but now he will be lost when it comes time to find the quest to get to icewind dale.

    Same here. Just filed a bug report about it myself.

    Update: Captain Dunmish, near the Coster Market, did indeed have the quest! Many Thanks and Cheers!
    (Good to see that the players find the workarounds before the devs even acknowledge the problem lol!)

    I find it slightly absurd to have to Google to find an answer as to why I couldn't access Icewind Dale. Thanks for the answer here! I found Captain Dunmish!
