I assume for dungeons? PVP is probably more of outlasting the opponent.
I believe I have recently ran in a legit formed GG party with you. Both of us were 15k TRs, however I believe you were in grim set with bile, so I assume you are PVP build. If I recall we did 3 runs of DK or FC(can't recall which) and my paingiver was consistently just over double of yours or about. The party composition was 2 CWs, GWF, and 2 TRs, and I was top in damage in the 3 runs, though 1 CW had connection issues.
To understand how to maximise dps will depend on your build. In my case, I have feats that generate more AP while dealing CA in stealth, so the norm of using Tactics in PVE I dropped in favor of tenacious concealment. I find I generate a lot of AP as well while maintaining enough stealth for 2x DF and stealth LB for more DPS from increased severity. And vorpal is best for this style.
I am MI Executioneer. My regular encounters are SS, LB, and Blitz. I can be flexible with no fixed rotation, but I usually start stealth after the 2nd hit of DF connects to extend stealth DF time and only use my LB in stealth, if not, I'll save it for next rotation after a SS.
Set: Swashbuckling Captain or 2 Pieces Dread Legion/Iliyanbruen or Master Assassin (More Power and Armor Pen but much less Recovery)
Weapon Enchant: Vorpal
Get as much power as you can and a decent amount of lifesteal but do NOT neglect Armor Pen and Recovery.
Have the 'Endless Consumption' boon and a good amount of lifesteal ready, because with these encounters you're going to play suicidally, no ITC and Shadow Strike means that you're going to get hit a lot and it's very easy to die with a TR if you botch a dodge or stay in an AoE while immune to CC with duelist flurry and thinking that you can survive that hit.
Open with Blitz or if you are a Whisperknife, use disheartening strike to the highest hp mob, then use Blitz, search for mobs that are close together and hit them with Dazing Strike, start the duelist flurry chain, as soon as the third hit starts go into stealth, after it ends use lashing blade if it's still alive, repeat.
If you have the GWF artifact and the daily meter is full, go into stealth, use the artifact while you are surrounded and immediately use Whirlwind of blades to maximise your damage, if you have some encounters available use them before stealth runs off.
can anyone pls write how to max your dps for rogue?
what encounters to use?
weapon enchantment?
rotation?
path?
stats?
buffs?
etc...
thank you.
I'm assuming dungeon right? Go with the following setup:
Stats:Power as high as 5K, 7K if possible. Critical Chance 45-50% ~ get this from DEX, passives, feats as much as possible, and stack your Crit Stat to as high as 3K. All HP for defense slots. 30K+ is recommended, GWF artifact, Vanguards Banner, DC artifact Buffs: Lathender's Dew, always Path: Master Infiltrator, Executioner Encounter Loadout: Wicked Reminder/Dazing Strike + Lashing Blade + Blitz (absolutely NO ITC or Shadow Strike so you need high HP to survive those AoE splats) Passives: Tenacious Concealment (you need a way to restealth), Skillful Infiltrator Dailies: Whirlwind of Blades (AoE), Lurkers Assault (single target boss) At wills: DF, Sly Flourish Enchantment: Vorpal Gear: Swash/Battlefield Skulkers (the non-tenacity version from Gaunt)
When you first showed me that place, we thought it's the foundry that's going to be canned. Was this why Wicked Reminder got a nerf? ~idk I guess it doesn't matter now. That exhibition was recorded in the extremes where adds were conveniently piled up by the hundreds, an unrealistic situation that never happens in live dungeons not even CN. The WR nerf was never necessary
