Suggestion on how to get Black Ice Main Hand? (TR)

I haven't played for several months and Im pretty new to Ice Wind Dale..

Some friends told me that in order to get Main Hand and Gloves I need to farm Heroic Encounter in Icewind Pass and Dwarven Valley.. is that all what I need to know? Thanks

    You farm the Beholder in Dwarven Valley. I have done over 50 of him now though, all with the result of 180 Black Ice, but yet to have received the weapon.

    Finally got my mainhand dagger from the Beholder in DV last night. Arrived first, released him, got in periodic hits with WR, LB, and DF during the lengthy encounter to follow. Didn't get killed, picked up half a dozen other folks. Wailed on adds when not on boss. Profit.
    This was like my ~60th Beholder run. Keep at it, you will eventually get it.
    That said, it is not as good at the Femorian or Dragon set.

    Ive got corrupted set and dragon set, and after testing didnt sure wich one is the best... Dragon gives about 200 more stats, but it is lifesteal... So, if u got dragon/fomorian or even dread/ancient set, it doest worth your time to get black ice weapons (bonus procs 1 time in 30-60seconds).
