only to find out that the currect price of the companion now is 5x less than what i spent...
just HOW and WHY?
1 lead costs around 230k now to exchange, yet people go around selling the companion for even less???
i just saw one alchemist companion going for 200k!
what is this?
i spent all my darn AD to take the item first and try to profit from it somehow!
my God did they make the drop rates of the codex too common from the smouldering satchel???
im angry,im really angry, stupid event, ruined everything for those expecting to finally make some ad out of it....
i feel for everyone who facepalmed his/herself the same way i did

and i still dont get it!
how did the seller profit out of this?
when to get yourself 1 lead costs way WAY more!!
im smelling an exploit or literally huge stupidity from some players
The Devs should do this sort of thing often to ensure that Preview is not simply used by people trying to know what markets to corner on the AH, or discover the best new exploits......
It's called luck, and you probably don't have any.
Probably not , it's called 'the obvious' , I'm guessing they haven't had to take the event down due to 'luck'
Due to unforseen technical issues, we've had to delay this event. We will keep you updated when this event becomes available again. Thank you for your patience.

There is danger involved in market speculation. It's a high risk, high reward gamble to attempt to guess what the market is going to do in order to take advantage of it.

indeed,a high risk of developers having "technicals issues" with the events they're making, while the exploiters are drinkin beer and keep dancing?
yes,i guess i should have known things would turn this way, right?
i should have known that the event would be exploitable...
what a gamble i took!

.
are you kidding me?
get out of here, suspect
an alchemy resource needed to be traded for a lead
100 aqua regia = 1 lead
15 leads = 1 codex to craft the companion
100 aqua regia = 200k AD in the AH
15x 200k AD = you dont even wanna know...
yet some exploiters ruined the event before i even get to sell mine...by getting multiple companions and selling 200k AD each!!!!
im expecting some ROUGH punishment for all those that managed to get 3x of the companion and sell it for low,its obvious it was a VERY wrong price for such a companion

It's not that you "should have known" that there would be technical issues or that you "should have known" that there would be an exploit. It's "you should know" that when you sink a bunch of AD into something with the hope or expectation that it will go up in price that sometimes, through no fault of your own, you can end up taking a bath. No different than people who bought a whole bunch of keys this morning with the understanding that they can freely trade them only to find them account bound after the patch. No different than people who bought Enron stock a month before they went belly-up.
I'm not saying your analysis was wrong, because it wasn't. You were ahead of the curve on this. But everyone who gets involved in this kind of trading SHOULD know that what they are doing carries risk of unforseen problems costing them a lot of currency. Speculating is dangerous.

Is this the thread where we brag about buying items at weird market values?

Either the guy above you should play the lottery, or we have a suspect.
In any case, Cryptic please congratulate him.

Confused about this Alchemy companion or w.e. Someone aware me pls.
What are leads? What do you craft exactly? I log off for 12+ hours and this happens lol.
since we already have a CTA event. Nope... cluster something.
Should still be in your ARC newsfeed.
