My hand hurts holding down shift to block, frankly i'm tired of it, can we get some what to toggle shift/block for GF? I like playing a GF but after running 1 dungeon or even just 1 or two kessels my left hand hurts from my pinky holding the shift key down so much. Plus it causes me to dismount when i'm mounted and someone loots and I hit shift+# to choose what I do.

I would be for an option to make it a toggle in the UI, but not always a toggle as I pvp, and I have to react fast and double clicking guard would suck!

Why are you using, the default keybinds? Bind it to Q, problem solved.

If it was an option and players wanted it sure but I wouldn't use it, I like it being responsive and going up and down exactly when I need it fast.

Nope that would still bug my hand, a more comfortable key for me would be caps lock but for some reason when I bind it there it doesn't seem to work and it still doesn't stop from hurting my hand holding it down. Fighting lots of mobs i don't hold it as much but if i'm fighting a single target to keep busy it hurts my hand ... really makes the class hard to play for me personally, suppose I could bind to a mouse button and see how my thumb holds up.

My left thumb hurts because I can't stop spasticly jumping up and down everywhere I go.

I transposed shift and space on my GF. So dropping my thumb on the space bar while using my fingers to move and attack works a lot better for me. Plus having jump on the shift key makes it feel a lot more like a movement key which is what it is on my other toons.

OK wow I didn't think about that, jumping is nearly pointless in this game certainly for a GF, maybe i'll give that a shot.

I still think for the way I play I personally would like a toggle option in game settings to toggle shield on and off. 3

Thanks for the suggestion. Thats why we come to forums to get those ideas we missed ... just wish I had thought of that myself lol.

Jump is still usefull on GF. often I will jump while closing and start the animation for an attack in mid air. Helps with the long cast times. Also can jump/ lunge to target over mobs heads to a more distant target. Finally, timed right, jump-lunge-bull will actually knock those pesky ranged folks off of the pedastals in domination.

I mapped to my middle mouse button and found it very useful.

Disagree. You can jump over an enemy GF and prone him with Bull Charge if you are quick enough. I can also jump over a frontline player and target the backliner behind him. Example, I have gotten pretty good at jumping over a GWF/GF and then Tab-lunging to the DC/CW/HR behind him.
PSA: You don't need to grind Spinward Rise for your Elemental artifact main hand if you have some AD lying around. You can craft it via the Tyranny of Dragon's campaign screen.

I need to try that. I once lunged at a CW on the pillar in Hotenow and as I hit him he must have stepped back because he ''pulled'' me on to the pillar with him. So I Bull Charged him off. ;p

Takes a lot of practice and you can't exactly get a dummy on a pedestal. But it is extremely satisfying when it works.
