Well... it's time to never come back to PE again for a while ^^
I agree, loved the night time effect in PE, kinda wish they would rotate out the day and night at least in PE, the whole game to have a night/day scheme would be nice too.
Sadly the best thing about this event was the night time sky and a dragon coming from the fireworks. As a whole the event was a bit lackluster for such a big Holiday.

It always looks great at night time. Wish it would turn to night time more often.
That was the best thing about the event, the event itself and the rewards were meh.
+1 for a rotation of night and day even if it is just in Protectors enclave , I love how the town looks at night and being constant twilight gets boring after a while xD .
I would love to see a day/night rotation also. It's almost eerie having the sun in the same position every (real) hour of every day. It was enjoyable to see the night sky.
Day/night cycle would be great yeah. That said the night sky looked really bad if you looked it behind tallest buildings in Enclave.
I agree, the texture of the night sky looked horrible, like it was drawn in MS Paint, however the night effect was rather nice.
This is a bit offtopic, but another thing that really irritates me about Protector's Enclave is that cartoonish architecture. Their design manager is either on minimal paycheck so he doesn't care, or doesn't know a thing about his job, if they have one, that is.
Take a look at Divinity's Reach in Guild Wars 2 - that is how you build an epic city.
